Not sure if this is the right thread to post this, but I wanted to fuel the drama once more, so here goes: www.doomworld.com/forum/topic/130755-gorehounds-of-doom-rc2-release-thread-an-mbf21-horror-themed-community-project/?page=2Here's my summary of the events if you don't want to read the thread by yourself: I think many people here (myself included) used to think that Doomkid is the only neutral mod on DW who always tried to keep his cool, stay reasonable and be friendly to anyone, etc etc etc. It turns out he's as much a piece of shit as any other DW mod/admin. On the second page you can see Doomkid's friend Snaxalotl call RMG 'dumb fuck', 'a joke' and overall being a snarky obnoxious bitch. If you open the first page and scroll down to the end, you'll see that the worst thing RMG said to DK's friend is 'you act like an arse' (and he only said because Snaxalotl refused to release his map because of a small change). Then RMG tries to defuse the situation and accepts defeat, but Snaxalotl keeps being a stubborn cunt and then they go back and fourth exchanging pleasantries until it all culminates when RMG posts a graph showing suicide rates among trans people. So what does Doomkid do? Give them both a warning and close the thread? Hell nah, he bans RMG on the spot and his friend gets scot free despite her shitty behavior that would get any other user in trouble. But if you're friends with the mods, then that's totally fine... For context, (not sure if I got this info right, correct me if I'm wrong RMG), but as far as I'm aware before this incident RMG didn't have any problems on DW, he didn't receive any warnings and zero threads got closed because of him. So what point am I trying to drive across here? DW parades itself as the ultra-progressive, positive, welcoming, etc forum but once you make one step beyond the party line, you're fucked; I'd argue that the right course of action would be to give them both a warning, close the thread and give RMG a second chance. Because if RMG really is a big bad transphobe, banning him for one instance of wrongthink will surely change his mind and make him revaluate his views (not). Also note how DK says 'imo' like he's not sure himself Snaxalotl did nothing wrong. And one last thing I wanted to show here is blatant lies about RMG shit talking Snaxalotl in the thread in which he posted his map, take a look at these screenshots:   I mean, the original post was edited the day after so maybe he did say something awful but judging from the replies in the thread (https://www.doomworld.com/forum/topic/137256-mbf21-sweet-tremor/) this doesn't seem to be the case. |

doomkid has said some rather embarassing shit in this and other forums already so i don't think it's even needed, but yea that rmg vs snaxalotl was some bullshit. i was lurking realtime

ah thx. it does feel a bit insulting to write using a review chatgpt instead of actually expressing personal thoughts but whatever... we're gonna regret AI somewhere down the line tbh. yea at this point i agree, i didnt think i had a strong opinion on ai but just using it to write an entire review series feels like a missed opportunity. reading these there isnt anything unique being said about dbp59 or any other project really, each review could be talking about another wad entirely and itd still be applicable. i also dont understand why they have a voting system if they also have a large selection of "staff awards". at the very least they could have written real reviews for the staff awards instead of using chatgpt for those too... this just feels so pointless i wonder if they even played half the stuff they "reviewed" |

I actually like AI also for the fact that it pisses so many people off.
There's also the fact that if you can reduce costs and maximize production (maximizing profits), it really doesn't matter what public opinion is. Most of the money is in the hands of only 10% of the population anyway. Just like the way corporations, and politicians fuck over people right out in the open; that isn't going to change with implementation of AI. Look at public opinion of any of the governments branches, it doesn't change a thing. The masses are just going to roll over and take it up the ass like they always do. They've already got you baby.

AI is very scary. One of my younger colleagues just graduated college and said that they were allowed to use AI for writing papers. I worry that all kids are going to wind up doing is reference these tools for the rest of their lives and believe whatever it spits out because 'that is what the program says.'
Even more frightening is that there are people speculating AI is going to be used for this car killswitch thing by 2026 my government just gave funding to. Our warships can already operate unmanned. Skynet here already?
I have thought about looking into using AI to help me with basic tasks like setting up testing classes, writing a basic code structures, or writing annoying verbose comments required for static analysis compliance. That is as far as I would take it for now though.

He pretends very well but the veneer is super thin - it takes nothing to make him blow up and go completely apeshit, it's hilarious and very milkable. He also has this weird radar for being mentioned without even needing to ping him, so I assume after this post he'll show up any minute to seethe and mald. Also wow, Gorehounds, that sure brings back memories. I was in fact the one who started the project, before having to step down for health reasons. In retrospective, I might have dodged a bullet... that came later on anyway, but that's another story. |

Yeah, but before his meltdowns he always pretended to be impartial and when I used to watch his youtube videos he seemed like a nice guy. Now thinking back to what I've seen I wonder if most of what he said when he was a part of the Doomer Boards is a lie. Like that time when A;Z drama happened he was saying the actual reason it didn't get to the top was because there simply were "too many good wads to choose from and the competition is wild" (not the exact quote, but that was basically what he said). |

i unno, having to read their bullshit even in here is honestly too much. one of my first posts in this forum was body shaming him while the koolkrew was raiding from their discords, 40 ounce forced me to edit that. i did that because i felt bullying rmg wasn't cool, among other things. i guess i could to that again, but it's all rather tiresome. these people are so genuinely shitty that leaving them to their own devices seems the best course of action for ruining their reputation

Meh, honestly at this point I'm just setting records straight (yes, they lurk here, all of them) and roasting a few people I've been meaning to for a while. I pretty much ran out of names, save for a few minor actors I won't even bother with, so this should be all for now.
Funny tho, how I mostly ended up feeling more respected and safer in a forum where allegedly a large part of its members literally wished I didn't exist.
