The UMAPINFO has MAP14 and 15 lead back to MAP01 despite being in the middle of the set.

Well this looks fucking awesome, I know what I will be playing tonight, real excited to see what you all made. Is this the biggest DBP yet in terms of the number of maps? 20 maps Holy fuck Auger Zenith had 22 maps including the credits map. |

Second or third biggest, depending on how you count it. Wait, aside from Auger Zenith, which other one is bigger? DBP19 has 25 maps, though about half of those are interstitial story maps - there's only like 13-14 "real" maps. |

In the future I'd like my credits map name graphic to read "SuperCupcakeTactics" I know I have other funny names but that's the official one and aside from that I loved everything about the credits map it's chef's kiss

MAP18 leads back to MAP01 's a version that fixes the MAPINFO and includes the more up-to-date Pixel Fiend graphics. |

It allows for a quick 'click and play' instead of having to boot up a .bat file or ZDL to load two wads.

Like Joe said, it's for convenience. Personally, I think its a bit of a pain having to juggle multiple files as I don't use any sort of launcher or BAT file when I play for fun. There's also been occasional complaints about us not having everything bundled together in one WAD (iirc, there were a couple regarding the separate pistol add-ons in DBP37) and I think people are less likely to use the add-ons if there isn't a bundled together version, even if they aren't using mods. Basically, it just gives people more ways to play how they want. |

That's fair! On one hand, it does basically double the filesize, but on the other hand we're living in The Year Of Our Lord 2022 and a 14 megabyte download really isn't a big deal anymore.

If downloading double the file size is a problem, then someone could create a bat file that will merge the add-ons and the main wad together into a separate full wad for extra convenience.
