DBP videos & demos download


"The file in the above link is constantly updated as new playthroughs/demos come in. This file is simply a zip archive containing text documents relevant to every DBP released thus far and also what is in progress. These text documents contain playthrough description, YouTube links in the case of video playthroughs and dropbox links in the case of demo playthroughs. All demo downloads contain the appropriate version of wad file needed to play them back in PrBoom+ or ZDoom v2.8.1.

If you have some demos that are not listed here, feel free to send them this way, but make sure you also have the appropriate wad version to play them back. There's been a bunch I couldn't include because the particular version needed has been lost to time. Any video playthroughs not listed here send too.

Every single map in DBP history has at least some footage of it being played by someone, so if you’ve mapped for the DBP and never seen any playback, check it out.

Good stuff, but looks like crap for us uberchads who use the slime/blood theme. you might wanna put every project into an individual small black frame or something. or if it's possible, change the text colour for those themes. Or idk you might come up with something better.

Even a little forum maintenance is too much to ask for I'm afraid.

I'm a grumpy guy sometimes. This archive thread stopped at DBP32 and the project archive it helped create is now available from any page of the forum. The new archive is actually kept up to date on the latest DBPs while this thread died out months ago and serves no purpose.

I also take issue with the DBP timetable thread also being stickied from the same member that also deleted themselves. Having no idea what's in store for the future, with a stickied thread that's supposed to communicate such being abandoned I find discouraging. I don't know if 40oz just wants me to do it myself if I want that so bad, but the thing is that I don't want to be in control of that thread or have that responsibility. 40oz is the one set to make every DBP for the rest of the year at this rate, but maybe that's just what he wants. Something something #cleanyourroom 40oz.

I'd gladly manage and maintain a scheduling thread if nobody else wants to deal with it. I like knowing what's coming up in the future. I'd also like to see the existing (abandoned) scheduling thread unstickied.
