What makes him a "nobody" compared to you or others? He wrote plenty of good posts in the past. And I personally think it was wrong for him to be banned over one single word. Though I will admit, it was a stupid comment. To be fair Pedro, saying nothing more than "disgusting" in a thread full of butthurt transsexual moderators can only end with you getting banned. That simple post didn't humiliate Essel, nor did it prove anything. It just made you look like a YouTube level troll. Not sure why you would want to go out that way, lol. Edit: typo, because it doesn't matter how many times I proof read something. I never notice at least one typo until the post has been made. Wtf brain. |

I have occasionally wondered how many Doomworld members are aware of each other and too what extent. Like, I can name a number of prominent members off the top of my head, but there's probably plenty of prominent ones I can't. In fact, the ones I find prominent may be hardly anything to other members. I think the same for larger communities in general. *shrug*

I think we should go back to the format we had earlier, have a specific section dedicated to games... Yea, we can leave the sub-forums for Doom, and other id games; merge Doom (2016) board into it. With that, I could use other sprites from other games, into the forum layout. With the diffusion of ROMs, ISOs, etc. I think a whole sub-board dedicated to old-school games would be interesting. We can create additional sub-forums later, if significant interests( i.e threads and posts) of particular subjects grow. Nevertheless, I wouldn't want to promote the distribution of illegal content. Just discussion, and for historical preservation of past games. |
