I'm ill again, viral infection (respiratory infection and me has the asthma, also enjoying literally no sleep again because I am either melting or freezing to death).

Anyway, get sick note, medical professional confirms I am too ill to work...

Have to call work every day and explain how I'm still ill, every time boss tells me that I sound fine and must explain why I can't come in, despite a note from a medical professional explaining why I can't.

I fucking love armchair physicians telling me I am not ill, eat a chode and die.

I don't particularly care about being ill at this point, I just care about the fact that I now have to deal with some self important chode lord telling me that I am not ill despite actual doctors telling me I am.

Yeah that's especially bad and only adds to the suffering of dealing with the illness when you have to explain to someone that you're sick and their first instinct is to not believe you.

They need to get better security, by the sounds of it I could hack it and I'm armed with nothing but a wet cloth and a paper clip.

And this guy is like some fuckin high school loser, with a quick look he released another video saying he isn't the hacker but he is "part of the hacking team" (or at least it sounded like that, couldn't hear him because he needs to get closer the mic and speak up with his unbroken voice).

If him and his script kiddie buddies want to commit DDoS attacks then go for it, enjoy shower time with bubba, no water off my back (same can't be said for the hackers though, something else more sticky will be running off their backs ya get me)

Inspired by this "Debunking the Myth that Doom is meant to be played keyboard-only" crap that floated atop the doomworld's general subforum again: I played Quake 2 keyboard only when it came out. The "Doom was supposed to be played with mouse" can go fuck itself rounds and rounds, because although it was, this is not how I played it, and neither did I play Quakes with mouse - at least I am absolutely sure I had to vertically aim with key controls, which made those Icarus enemies really hard to deal with. Using mouse to aim vertically in Quake 2 is cheating.

Although nowadays I play either Doom or Quake with mouse and WASD for keys, of course, and can't think of going back. However, the first time I had to learn WASD was when I played Counter-Strike multiplayer in 2008 (and then only because people saw me play using arrow keys at university - my friend was an admin who set up a kind of gaming club in programming class) - before that, it was always arrow keys I played ANY games with. It should be noted that I did discover and use strafe left-right keys in Doom when I played it with arrows and mouseless, so it wasn't like you couldn't dodge at all. Also, running in Doom for me was for special occassions - that made E2M9 and "Barrels of Fun" really stand out, as you switched between modes "walk and kill" and "run". It resembles modes in "Vim" somewhat - that is, you are either in "running" mode, or "shooting" mode, or "dodging mode" and you like switching mindsets when you go from one to another ("Vim" is a editor where there is a mode where typing text means typing text, and then there is where those keys actually mean commands that operate on text instead of being typed, or you can also type out a command and execute it). Those who don't appreciate E2M9 or "Barrels of Fun", apparently, never played it like this, but to me it was very cool because these maps opened in a different mindset from the rest of the maps. Also, there is a lot of different ways how "Barrels of Fun" can start. Sometimes Mancubus thinks he plays Nightmare! (can happen at any difficulty) and blasts the barrels THE MOMENT he is revealed, or you can shoot barrels yourself and run (and survive by the way), etc. there is a lot of choice there.
