They did make their own projects, ToD. The whole post is in response to you not shutting the fuck up about it 5 years later. The contention was never that they didn’t start their own spin-offs, it’s that you framed it as “theft” and “power grabs” like a lunatic, when the reality is “anyone can submit a map in any format, no rules otherwise” is simply a good set of rules for a project, and by no means whatsoever does an acronym or rule set “belong to you”.
