Mausoleum Nefarium is a short episode for Doom 2 designed for limit removing source ports made by various members of Doomer Boards. In my map, the barriers for the rocket launcher and exit in the blue key area are not working anymore. The name is also slightly different, but I dig this one also.
DBP_49.wad also crashes Crispy Doom immediately for me as TITLEPIC is .png (same for DBP_49_full.wad)

I noticed that the released WAD doesn't have a DEHACKED or UMAPINFO so there's no custom map names in the automap. I went ahead and created some and posted them in the DBP dev thread.

Here's a quick update: v1.01- Adds MAPINFO stuff for the level names. - Fixed the txt file (Map 7 & 8 are switched around). - GLDEFs for the sprite replacements (so they glow blue instead of red). Gibbon's map, "Temeratum Palatium", is Map 08. His map is NOT "Exitium Vehemens". It's incorrect in the DW post, last I checked.

I wasn't sure whether to also swap the names when gib brought it up, consider it fixed
also updated the download link with the fix...will also have to update my map tomorrow, some decorations are floating and i broke the bridge fight...somehow (can i blame that on UDB? yeah. we'll go with that.)

It might be best to hold off for now and let some more bug reports roll in as people play it as there might be other maps that are bugged. I've posted up what I know about in this thread.

So for map 9, after I was done with the map I was hunting for secret and decided to go to the right side of the castle to search Attachment DeletedAnd after I went through it I of course ended up at the bloody hallway with the bfg at the end and got softlocked: Attachment DeletedSo this happend the third time I went through it. i am using GZDoom 4.7.1 (oh GZDoom had trouble dealing with the beauty of this map, low fps gaming, my own fault, shouldnt be using GZDoom)

And for some reason I also cant backtrack through the leftside of the castle
nvm, you can back track after you step on the steps at the end of the right path of the castle.

Back to classic DBP goodness! Some haunting castles and fun Doom 2 combat. Nothing too difficult.
Map09 looked impressive but ran terribly while recording, so I might have to check that one out in a different sourceport.
Here's a first look at Map01 and Map02, both played cold at UV with pistol starts, as always. Look for the rest of the videos in the next few days.

For me, Doom Retro, DSDA-Doom, Odamex, and PRBoom all had noticeable dips in framerate particularly when facing the big castle. GZDoom remained performant and didn't show any FPS dips for me at any point during some brief testing. Keep in mind that I have a pretty good machine (Ryzen R5 3600 CPU, RTX 3080 GPU) and I have a 144Hz monitor. Dips in framerate didn't go very low generally and remain playable; during my playtesting of MAP09 Doom Retro's FPS managed to sink into the teens at one point, but I'm attributing this to how Doom Retro handles its blood splat decals.

I downloaded this TODAY and the readme still (currently) shows that Mayhemic made map08, and Gibbon Map07. In my video I even talk about how Gibbon used a 'vanilla approach' and how his map is very similar to Mayhemic's.
Guess I'll have to rerecord, but that loses some of the charm of playing a map cold...

In my testing, Crispy Doom, DSDA/prboom+ (fine on software but noticeably better on hardware) and GZDoom (two latest versions specifically, older ones run like ass just generally) ran decently, despite having an integrated graphics card and extremely old CPU

I want to give a loving passionate not-gay hug to glikkzy for leaving the gap in special lines on his map so door to a room that houses RL & blue skull is operable from the inside in ports that don't let use pass through special lines. If you want some boring FDAs click here! Recorded in prboom-plus 2.5.1.5 with version from the OP (1st July). Guess I'll have to rerecord, but that loses some of the charm of playing a map cold... If you don't want to re-record the gameplay part then you could (probably) add some intrusive editing to the video. In example adding text that corrects you or just record new commentary over old one.

sosh I'll take it! The gap is mine, but the row of special lines making the door nigh unusable was a good-intentioned coop fix from 40oz that sadly leaves a lot of people stuck/confused when getting to my map in the current compilation, I imagine. I have since submitted a new version of the map that simply does not lock the player in that room at all, so that the door works and only the rocket launcher is temporarily blocked off.
