Have you ever thought about not overreacting to slightly weird texturing and simply asking why a brick has sand on it? Or something like that?

I think the vanilla style is fine for what it does. Speaking as someone who likes making their maps so that textures and flats make logical sense, I don't think this needs to be a thing all of the time. It's a design decision as valid as any other.

My point is that it shouldn't be given awards and be pushed in a line of commercial products. The original IWAD's are not perfect, there's no such thing, but they made a good effort with limited tech that they had. The map-packs that caught my ire are all made in the modern era, so at least IMHO they could've made it less unappealing. |

It kinda pisses me off that he makes a thread where he's shitting on wads just because they have slightly odd texturing due to vanilla limitations and wishes they didn't get cacowards because of that, and then running to cry in this forum as if he's a good innocent angel who did nothing wrong. I think you ought to answer your own questions instead of projecting them on to shibainu. Theres absolutely nothing personal in his thread or about you or his reason for being banned and its perfectly valid for him to express that here. |
