Overrated Asswipes in the Doom Community

Yeah, can't lighten up the mood a little and joke about serious things like that... Feelings might be hurt! Got to keep that space safe!

Blah blah blah, here's a brief shit-list of the community's worst offenders in my personal ranking.

Mordeth: Actual piece of shit, don't remember the exact details but I believe I remember him threatening to doxx somebody. Stay the hell away from him.

Linguica: Scary in a not-quite-human Mark Zuckerberg way. He seems notably more intelligent than the majority of the users, and probably gets off on pressing his administrative faculties onto others.
Creepy guy...

Nine Inch Heels: Paragraph after paragraph of self-righteous insanity.
Usually when I see a post by her I leave the thread because I know the next couple of pages will be half-populated with her nonsense posts until she gets the final word.
Somebody please make this bitch shut up.

Seed: Absolute weirdo who only spammed threads (I think he actually had the highest post count of all time) and never contributed a *single* thing of importance. Good riddance he's gone

Major Arlene: Similar to Nine Inch Heels but maybe ever-so-slightly less bad in lecturing others.
Pretends like she has some kind of authority over others when addressed.

Roadworx: Super obnoxious crybaby that doesn't contribute anything important, and thinks Doomworld is some kind of therapy session.

DSC: Similar to roadworx in that he has this awful habit of constantly making self-pitying threads of sorrow in hopes of getting likes. Also a dumbass.

Dew: Really annoying douchebag who talks too much but is notably underhanded in the way he slanders others to get the community to dogpile the ones he doesn't like.
Only reason I rank him lower is because he contributes a fair amount. Ultimately deserves an ass-kicking though.

Edward850: Petty, self-righteous, and unfathomably unforgiving towards certain users who have the "wrong" opinion according to him.
Getting a job at Nightdive made these traits (and his ego) skyrocket.

Redneckerz: Really annoying douchebag who talks too much while kissing his own ass at any opportunity.
Top 5 in the most condescending for sure.

Biodegradable: A totally unremarkable guy who thinks everyone wants to hear his (bad) take on everything.
His one schtick and contribution to the community is to make shitty videos of himself playtesting peoples maps with meaningless (usually lack there-of) commentary.

I'm definitely missing a few others, but those are the main buffoons I can think of.
There's a fair share of others that could be dis-honorable mentions, but they usually contribute to the community with actual content so they're naturally less useless in nature.
All that being said, I still don't mind Doomworld for it's community content and general layout. If I wanted to post something more risque in nature I'd definitely go elsewhere though.

I'd argue about NIH. The nerve of this bitch is unreal. She publicly cussed me out, told me to "Go to 4chan, they'll welcome your vitreol with a round of applause". And then when i confront her about it in PM's, she snitches to the mods to ban me for ""harrasment"". Funnily enough this was my first temp-ban on DW.
And also Major Arlene is bad at doom and making maps for Doom, just sayin', she gave herself a cacoward once.

Thanks!  Well I guess your question about Dynamite Duchess was answered.   The fact that it's such high quality made them probably find it extra threatening and wanted to do much more to erase something that undermines all their bullshit.   Impie got a lot of flack and banned by them for that and Stray Dog.   But the more they try to control, the more control they now and will lose.   So before a labyrinth of various all different things I've worked on here and there, first thing I like to do is provide a collection linking to everything the perpetually butthurt totalitarians want to deprive people of.

Further down I also have links to other goodies such the NIN vinyl Quake album liner notes which are a great read (not included with actual album due to bullshit so Carmack and Reznor uploaded them for a bit to still make them available).

Not really, i already admitted that the thread where my fued with NIH started was a bad idea on my part, multiple times. And i admitted that i said some shit that wasn't well thought out either. So no.

You were the first member ever I put on my ignore list on DW, if that's any indication. I wish I didn't have to, but I largely agree with hidden's assessment, though to be fair your ass kissing does extend to other famous community members, not just your own, if that's any solace. And your constant passive-aggressive armchair policing of posts is very, very, VERY annoying in the long run. Just my two cents.
