That's a possibility, regardless if you send photo's or not. But then again you willingly post on doomerboards, so that would turn me off. No way to know for sure unless you send eye pics.

I remember when i start seeing anime profile pics everywhere on yt, back in 2012-2013 if memory don't fail me, and at the time i had already dropped watching anime for a couple of years. Then i casually asked this friend of mine that goes to conventions and do cosplays and shit what this trend was all about. They are fine, and even better if they're not from some way too mainstream stuff. That can get a bit cringy (more so 'uninspired'), but you judge by posts, and not by a thumbnail.

Anybody who says to you, that your argument is irrelevant because of your avatar, is displaying the trait we call the 'I don't have a logical answer to your points, so I'm trying to invalidate you by attacking your character, so you can clearly see how insecure and ignorant of an asshat I am' prime directive. Provided that one's not so lost in its own self-centeredness (namely; in purely perceiving your online peers as accessories to benefit from or outright discard 'em like garbage) but rather maintains a certain willingness, genuine openess or that extra mundanely humane snoopiness in acquainting thyself with the personality standing behind another keyboard; signs, patterns and identity-over-time enfolds what you'll likely cling-to in order to figure-out what that person is really all about. However, the more such schematics are hurt; the harder and off-putting it's to keep-up with the course let alone get a concise picture.

That being said, how do you present yourself in a social environment plays a significant role in such procedure - in-the-field, we use to call it 'first impressions'. Despite such preliminarly aspect upholding that prestigious golden-spot in the podium; it's never all there's to it as we (the people) are always taken as anomalies in any serious scientific paper due to our very RNGesus nature yet the fool and the arrogant heavily insists in never letting such foretaste go but to carve into marble from the get-go. In other words: any-and-all character-related dealings that somewhat entails perceiveidly unusual, odd or shady behaviour -according to the adopted standards of your liking- will be mechanically 'found guilty until proven innocent'. Some embraces this system as means to cloak their insecurities while others take it as factually-given per concretely observed experience.

With the above considerations and moot premisses fully laid-out, let's address the elephant in the room..

Well, depending on your optics; to say 'nay' will be hella based and 'yay' rather gay. Either way, that's far too skewed of a conclusion to lend some sum of street-credits when you factor-in that anyone making usage of 'annie' images aren't at all safe from the fistful of assumptions that its raised to unapologetically uppercut their heads-off their shoulders (especially upon any on-going dissent). Figuratively-spaken clenched-hand, that, of which, grips no fortunate speculations since its very tightening act. Althought, not so undeservedly-so (might I add, in all fairness) as now-a-days we see many of such cases where repute truly precedes the actors.

Still, to set-forth an adequate answer for such a matter of opinion; I'd rather not take the obvious route but instead use my 'show, don't tell' special. * Why do mappers are so fixated in adopting industry standards for developing their content if they're not getting a single Franklin in return for their head-aches?

* Why the majority of forum-goers have this high-school mentality in spite of their age as if they never had grown outta it?

* Why do some get so badly agitated by dick-jokes and stupid shams to the point of calling-out bans instead of using their smarts?

* Why do power-plays even exists in a gaming-den where everyone's basically a robin hood stealing shit to bribe their boredom outta this thirty-years-old vidja?

* Why post anything at all, when you think about it? Songs, politics, hot-takes, tastes, reviews, recos, etc. it's all been done to death before you even entered the arena - have you ever used our search engine?
