We have all heard the saying, "That guy just restored my faith in humanity a little!"
What if we all did something like that every day for a complete stranger?
Even something small...a friendly gesture like holding a door open, assisting somebody with a heavy item, giving someone a compliment on their outfit, anything at all can make someone happy. Even if it is for just a moment, that will mean that for a moment you made someone feel good.
Just be nice. That's all you have to do to make today better.
So today, my challenge to myself and to you is to try and make someone smile. It's an amazing feeling, making somebody visibly happier if for even just a second.

Sadly not in this day and age for most people.
The advent of smartphones and social media has birthed an entire generation made up of constantly anxious, socially inept people who lack most basic social skills who seem to have a phobia of actual human interaction in the flesh.
Seeing everyones' best photos and stories shared online make you feel inadequate which makes you self conscious, making showing yourself in public less desirable for you.

Wanna thank Tracer for making this post. Lotta ppl think being rude can help. But in a situation where everyone expects you to be rude, it can be unprofitable. I try to do by the book, and in general I like helping ppl. I don't think I am Jesus 2 or something, nor do I think I am automatically higher than my peers in that regard, but when a community of nice people gets built up, life gets easier and nicer by default. So yeah, yall should chill and play by the book, but also remember you are you and you shouldn't be abused for your niceness as well. Yall should be solid mountains that animals and plants would like to live on, not rocky barrens or plowed fields , in short, individuals can be nice all they want, but if the community can catch on without thinking "HUFF, SHOWOFF!", then it really pays off, if not for you, for your loved ones then.
