If you had the tools and the resources to make any kind of game you want, what would you make?
I've always been a fan of the Contra games. I really like all the action and explosions, but I also enjoy how much control you have over your character where all you can do is run side to side, jump and prone, and aim in only 8 shooting angles. Infinite ammunition is great, and the variety of weapons you can collect are awesome.
I've been sitting on the idea of having a Contra clone for the PC that came with a map editor, so that a community could develop custom maps using backdrops they either make themselves or rip from other games (imagine playing Contra in Castlevania castles killing zombies or blowing up steampunk tanks in the deserts of Metal Slug, or even destroying Goro in a Mortal Kombat dungeon)
Something about Contra seems very timeless to me. I always look forward to when Konami comes out with new iterations of Contra, but I hate when they change up the formula. My favorites have always been the SNES Contra III: Alien Wars version and the PS2 Contra: Shattered Soldier version. So coming up with a good solid blend of the best games so that the game rules essentially stay the same but you get different varieties of enemies and boss battles with different scripted attack patterns would make for a really fun game.

Well... I myself had always been a fan of Mount&Blade, Half-life, and... this and that. I have so many ideas that I am actually trying to do my best in order to get a job as a video-game writer, since I like doing lore and story. I had designed this concept that I don't share with anyone but my closest friends, because I thought about it and designed that crap so much all that remains is to sit down and make the game. I just need to know whenever I would turn this concept into a game, or a novel or comic :/ A shareable idea is a multiplayer top-down arena fighter, kinda like the Arena fights in Mount & Blade, called it "Manly Medieval", with fightning mechanics akin to GBA Legend of Zelda games, but with tons of customization and mutators for fights. The most basic and vanilla of fights would have wooden weapons of "Light" and "Heavy" classes, like swords, spears, maces, bows... "Light" weapons are quick, but not really damaging, but light melee weapons can be paired with shields. While heavy weapons are slow to fire but deadly, and only the lance, when on horse, can be paired with a shield. Plus, three types of shield: buckler, round and tower. Buckler can bash, and tower shield has max protection. I did a lot of math (I suck at it btw) around balancing the stats, and I have them written down somewhere... Other than that, customization levels would reach real-life historical battle recreations. A Mount&Blade inspired game should always support modifying and customization, a lot of M&B mods are "historical recreations" of certain eras and times in history after all, so I reckon muskets and cannons should be the first mods ever made, should the game be made. Graphics? MS Paint-able, like Minecraft. I know I would risk having to deal with penises and swastikas, so I guess it would be cool to have some vanilla dedicated servers with varying mutators, or no mutators at all, that wouldn't allow custom player (fore)skins

The Nintendo Oui. It is a French version of the Nintendo Wii, where the player takes the Oui-mote and holds it up to their mouth...this is how one plays "Digital Chainsmoker". In the game, you blow smoke in snooty American tourist faces. If you seduce one, you get bonus points.
