Any chefs here? I love to cook, and would love to share and learn some recipes. The first recipe will be an old favorite, steak and eggs. For this, I use a propane grill for the steak and a frying pan for the eggs.
This recipe will yield a rare steak and sunny side up eggs.
What I use:
1. One New York Strip Steak
2. Olive oil
3. Sea salt (from the grinder)
4. Black pepper (from the grinder)
5. Montreal Steak Seasoning
6. Garlic Powder
7. Worcestershire sauce
6. Eggs
What to do:
Place the steak inside of a large Ziploc bag, and pour enough Worcestershire sauce in to cover the whole steak. Let it marinate overnight. The next day, take your steak out of the bag and set it on the cutting board until it gets to room temperature (this helps it cook more thoroughly and improves the taste). Then you season the steak in this order: Montreal steak seasoning, sea salt, black pepper, and then garlic powder (the order is important because the more coarse seasoning needs to go on first so it stick to the steak). Once you have seasoned one side, take a wide, flat knife and press the seasoning down into the meat. Pour a little bit of olive oil onto the steak and "pat" it around with your fingers until the entire side is covered. Flip the steak over and repeat.
The next step is getting the eggs ready. I just crack the eggs into a bowl. I don't beat them or anything, these are going to be sunny side up.
Now go over to the grill and turn it on. Let it heat up to about 400 degrees, and then place your steak on the bottom rack over a high flame.
While the steak is searing on that side, I go back into the kitchen to the stove. Then I take my frying pan and put it on the stove, high flame. Once the pan gets incredibly hot, I pour a little olive oil into the pan. Once the viscosity of the oil is similar to that of water, I pour the contents of the bowl into the pan. After about two minutes, I turn the flame down to low-medium and cover the pan.
By this time, I go back outside and flip my steak over. After about three minutes or so, I move the steak to the top rack.
I go back inside and check on the eggs, which should be solid white on top with bright yellow yolks. If there is still runny, uncooked eggwhites...just turn the heat up a bit. Once the eggs are done, I go to the grill and cut the steak right through the middle to make sure it is cooked to my liking. If it is, I will put it on a plate, walk over to the stove, and delicately slide the eggs off of the plate directly onto the steak. I then add a little salt and pepper.
Well gentlemen, now you can sit back and enjoy the best damn steak you will ever eat.

Want to be like me and add a sweet and spicy kick? If you can locate any, grate some habanero mango cheddar cheese on top of your steak before placing the eggs on top! Very delicious!
