I'm not sure I'm following you here. I've worked with a few gay men, but I didn't talk to them about their first gay experience, so I'm not so sure. I've heard about evidence about how the most recent convicted pedophiles were molested as children, I don't know for sure if it's the same with gay people though. What kind of porn are you referring to? Last two times I visited pornhub, there was a lot of cousin/stepsister/stepmom themed stuff in the popular highlights which was really weird. I haven't found anything related to underage children. I can't bring myself to look for it though. That's just 2dark4me. I was more referring to the whole "twink with daddy" porn trend. I wasn't saying that actual underage children are part of the main porn sites, just that actors that are chosen are often very youthful in appearance and could pass for 12-14 year olds visually. Again, I'm not really an authority on this because I don't actually view it in great detail, but as an outside observer it would seem that the gay community has a preoccupation with very young-looking, hairless males being paired with obviously older and more developed-looking masculine males.

You think maybe it's due to them repressing their sexuality at a young age and trying to see the feelings they had at youth carried out by other youths?

The numbers still suggest that the vast majority of homosexuals are not kiddie fiddlers.

It's less a homosexual thing and more a pedowood thing; seriously, you can't send girls to act either unless you're present at all times since even the straight actors are knee deep in sexual assault and rape charges. Making it about homosexuality derails blame from the actual culprits themselves and what they all have in common. I don't want to sound like "that guy in the middle whose woke to the 2 party system and thinks everyone else is dumb", but it'd be sad to see partisan politics be the reason that their ivory towers of pedophilia didn't get knocked down.. let the actors themselves blame their own acts on being homosexual and let the LGBT community eat them alive like what they did with Kevin Spacey.
At the end of the day it's an elitist class of inhuman degenerates that cover eachother's backs.. if we included the top class politicians like Podesta, other influential figures of society, and talking heads in Leftist media outlets trying to humanize pedophiles there's even more cases to be made that it's more a class issue with out of touch people living in a state of excess.

^ No, you should feel bad about the new forum emoticons.
So Charlie Sheen has turned out to be a pedophile as well.. one his victims committed suicide, apparently.

Should I feel bad about watching House of Cards now? Show is damn good. Fuck that. I don't feel bad about still loving the shit out of every single Louis, C.K. standup, and nobody else should feel bad about enjoying the products of sex offenders, either (as long as the products in question is not also the offense in question). What he was saying was funny before we found out he jacked off in front of some people, and dammit those things are still funny. Shit, if jacking off makes things unfunny, then my dream of becoming a comedy-porn director might never pan out. So rub one out until you bust a gut, folks!

Seriously though, it's hard to separate the character from the actor when the actor is a rapist or advocates for violence... it's impossible for me to take a virtuous character seriously when the man behind said character is part of a pedophile ring, or takes to Twitter to sperg about how half of the country are shit people that should get punched.

one of the advantages of anime is that the characters don't exist in real life.. wish the same could be said about weebs tho, amirite? It's interesting that you mentioned this because I had a very similar thought, except I replaced anime with characters in TV shows. Shit has gotten really crazy in tv shows. We see plenty cheating, gambling, drug distribution, addiction, domestic abuse, rape, masturbation, incest, murder, manipulation, etc. and depending on how well the show is written, you can really grow to love these characters despite their deplorable backgrounds. My wife is really into this sci-fi themed young adult novel based show called The 100. I watched it with her and one of the most fascinating aspects of the show for me is that every character goes through this rollercoaster of a reputation. They each represent themselves going thtough phases between being the hero of the season, and being the villain. Every single person has their demons and without losing their personalities, they do things that make you either love and cheer one or make you want to choke them to death. Sometimes they do things so despicably evil, and then redeem themselves later by doing something so remarkably selfless. That's what's so frightening about all of this. There's so much certainty and permanence on the internet in regards to real people. If you do anything wrong, you have to reap the consequences of it for just about the rest of your life. I don't know what to say about this, because I don't know if we will ever see a replacement for people like Louis CK or Kevin Spacey or any one of these other beloved actors/screenwiters/producers. Sometimes having a fucked up life is part of what makes it possible to make their writing and performance seem so real.

Well, I know no one's perfect... and people make mistakes and a lot of us like to play "judge" on actors' personal issues that are literally none of our business.. like an actor having one of those stupid nights where he gets drunk and has a bar fight (which gets hyped up with celebrity gossip), sometimes a lot of what they do is something that the only way you can avoid altogether is to be a complete shut in, and when someone brings it up in a conversation my response would be to say "imagine you had a camera on you your whole life, I'm pretty sure you're no angel and haven't done some pretty retarded shit, learned a few lessons the hard way and you might have even been at odds with the law atleast a few times"... on the other hand, when they make statements that targets a demographic (they do mark themselves as fair game to said demographic).. and the idea of pedophiles that are above the law because of their class (or status), who can remain untouched even if their crimes aren't a secret terrifies the living hell out of me. Anyway, despite a lot of these guy's sexual crimes; they really aren't that entertaining either, even the more eccentric ones have become less original over the years.. most of the modern entertainment industry bores me to death... same old slapstick humor: "Oh lightning never strikes twice so don't worry" *Lightning strikes character again* *Badum-tish*. I just can't, haha.

I agree with the sentiment that someone's actions outside of their art shouldn't have some big impact on your appreciation of the art itself, but for me there's some cases where I just can't ignore it. With Louis CK I really don't give a shit though, I'd consider what he did a stupid misdemeanor, it's not like he's some serial rapist.
