I love your art direction. I don't know what kind of game you can make of it but I hope you think of something cool to make sense out of all of it. It hurts I have made the AI for an FPS game but am so tempted to make it a stealth game. which Ive also made Ai for. Why don’t you give us a stealth level and a “standard” FPS level that we can check out and maybe we can help you decide which direction to take it?

Conflicting thoughts, I had the idea of stealth game but then thought it would be cool to have a 'Thief/lovecraftian' Inspired FPS, nothing is too much work. I love this stuff keeps the gerbil running. I'll sleep on it.

making a light detection system to test out stealth and patrolling enemies i could make this a hybrid of action and stealth having combat optional and supplies very limited

this is really good for my mindset helped my levels a lot reworking them with stealth in mind as im now making them even more interconnected even if I do eventually just make it a FPS, have messed around with 2 enemies so far got a floating eye that has large vision cone but can't hear and a generic guard that has a medium vision cone and can hear.

Animations are the hardest worst part of game dev. Any particular problems? I'm really bad at this stuff. Getting someone to help with it this year hopefully. I love programming and level design, doing animations though I take my hat off to anyone good at this stuff.

We've seen a few screenshots, and you've talked some about whether making it a stealth game or a doom clone. But what is it about? Heretic (or Thief) on acid? Is the comment about getting teleported into enemy territory to take out their commanders still accurate?

It's time consuming, was having to much fun making this game knew there had to be a catch somewhere, I've been busy making assets in the meantime I've got someone keen to help with animations thankfully. At this point Heretic (and Unreal) on a heavy trip is a good description but I am designing levels with a stealthy approach in mind, I'm experimenting with the stealth AI but balancing resources just right is harder than thinking up the concept. I do want there to be some fun combat in this.

Failed first attempt, blaming my fatigue. skybox is too light, wanted it to be a darker red and more stars and galaxies visible. also awkward rock placements
