I've heard about this one from Shadowman, a popular Russian mapper. You can take baths without turning the lights on! Somehow it never crossed my mind before, but now I understand that it's a great idea. Depending on the way your house is built, you can achieve pretty much complete darkness if you do this. It's completely different from the darkness I get in my bedroom at night and it's pretty interesting to experience. Definitely helps you to kind of relax your senses and just chill for a while. Recently I've been trying to learn a less stressful approach to life, and I feel like these baths in total darkness helped me a bit.
What are some other random simple things you can try in life? I mean, something that doesn't require a lot of time or money, but can still be fun or useful.

My S/O uses an anxiety medication. She takes very low doses and has offered me to try it. She thinks I'll like it but I'm deathly afraid of becoming addicted to it. I do wonder sometimes, if it will aid my mapping. I've heard some people say theyve had great benefits with stuff like ADHD medication or anti depressants when it comes to mapping, but I'm too afraid to try it.

One thing I love doing for relaxation is blocking the bathroom door with a towel, turning the shower on the hottest it can get, laying a towel on the floor, grab a pillow, turn the lights off, ans lay down in my impromptu dark steam room. VERY relaxing. Definitely try.

I personally add thunder to basic rainstorms artificialy through headphones or speakers to enhance the calming effects storms have on me (I really like the rain and just adore thunder).

An ice cream cake (I ate one from Baskin Robbins). I had one for the first time a few months ago and man I didn't know what I was missing out on... not even sure if it's all that good but I certainly enjoyed it when I did have one.
