For context, Brianna Wu is a massive advocate against the gamergate movement, which means she claims she is a victim of what she describes are real death threats, harassment, invasions of privacy, and violations of her basic human rights that many of us know to be general internet banter that's easily preventible by not being a moron.
That said, her campaign ad seems to be geared perfectly towards the retarded softies that would support her.

This is pitiful. People like Wu and the people that would find such ad campaigns as this anything short of absolute garbage are repugnant swine.
The saddest part for me, though, is that I have met people who would subscribe to content like this and give her their vote.
I think this is a sign...politics for at least the next eight years are going to be centered around supporting or opposing Trump and it is disgusting to me. I've reached a point of absolute contempt for die hard "conservatives" at a level that is comparable to my distaste for the political and social progressive types. Both sides of the spectrum are more concerned about slinging as much mud as possible in the faces of the other side that it is no wonder nothing ever gets done.

It's a fun ad. I like these dolls and everything. But the fonts seem really stock and cheesy, like Microsoft Word defaults or something. Dunno who this woman is. Anyway I think such videos are a lot more interesting than some dude in a costume sitting in an office chair talking about politics for five minutes.

Good point. If only more politicians just ignored politics and concentrated on playing with dolls then I'm sure things would work out better for y'all.
I'm out, America. Enjoy the shitfeast you've had baking in the oven for the past forty years. You truly do get the elected representatives you deserve.

The ad actually isn't bad. But what it is doing is sensationalizing politics into an entertainment gag and a popularity contest. It's beginning to rip wide open the flaws of our democratic system.
But the most shocking part about it is that Brianna Wu is a maniac. Should anything come of this, she could have some real leverage on the political system. Not much, but more than you're average American voter.

Brianna Who? Oh you mean that feminist who bitched about gamergate a few years back? She's still relevant these days? Any way, dumb video.

Jesus that was stupid O_o A bit off-topic but: I find it weird how people always bash Trump even though he is the most powerful man on earth right now,if i was american i would be scared shitless and would stop everyone who insults trump and say "shhhhh..... ._.,"

ROFL! I hadn't seen this thread at all til now, but I literally just finished watching a TJ Kirk video about how making a caricature of the "other side" is a shitty trap to fall into. Then I saw the video in the OP..
Futility.

Looks like the competition is pretty stiff this year. (ridiculous ad) That is pure science-fiction. Fear-mongering at its finest. When does this happen? What the ad should have shown was some MS-13 gangbangers chasing a white person out of their "turf", because that does happen. If you're lucky, you might make it out alive. Or some "citizens" playing the knockout game. Or maybe the fine Uzbekistani immigrant who killed 8 people before crashing into a school bus recently.

Was sitting in politics yesterday trying to codify the alt-right, what they believe, if they are actually right-wing according to established political models... and the only conclusion that I can come to that makes any sense whatsoever is they will look at whatever the idiot-left doing or saying on any given day and then proceed to do the exact opposite.
For no particular reason, other than to fucking annoy them.
That's it. That's the only model of their beliefs that I can create that makes even the slightest bit of sense. It is literally the politics of LULZ.
This paper is going to be fucking hilarious.

That's the impression I got from it too. It's criminal that they've redefined the meaning of both "right" and "alternative" in the worst possible way.

Yeah, Neocon rhinos lost the culture war long ago and there needed to be an alternative that rejected "muh traditional principles"... just a pity about the conference scenario and the doubling down on it. haha.
Well back to the original topic (kind of)... anyone ever see Brianna Wu's game?
