What a degenerate-ass website, holy shit. Not trying to defend JMAA or anything, because wtf there is nothing to defend there. But the people on that site are just as pathetic as the people they make fun off

Fair enough, I would lie if I said I didn't find it an interesting read. Still, dedicating an entire website to make fun of mentally unhealthy people is just incredibly sad. And thanks for the warning, I won't do that.

I question this too, jmaa got shunned from e1m1 server recently and I was a witness of that happening. This place is certainly NOT the best of all to appear in, lol. It's still Doom community place, Juan, people would 100% make sure you'll be known at the place asap.





It's true for the most of the site, and yet there are some places\threads where people keep having normal, casually healthy discussions or post fine things. Mainly "Games" and "Art and Literature" sub-forums. There are more to that but some of these are hidden from the view of unregistered lurkers.

Unironically my brain keep being fully intact. Guess that's a question of mentality and life experience. Somehow KF keep remind me of better days of Internet when people weren't so fucking fragile like in current days.

No idea, I'm not American. Seriously though, like you've said, that's about people's sensitivity. Everyone might (not) have reasons for act the way they do.
Like, take mayhemic for example. He's a hyperreacting kid, probably with a bag of grand autismo. I don't feel funny about the guy, it's rather depressing that he have a skill in mapping (I think?) but his interactions with people here are godawful, period. As well as some of his threads, which literally scream with "HEY LOOK IMA KID!!!"

Not going to lie that I haven't such moments in my early lifetime, though. We all were a bit degenerates. Probably still are, just got some life experience, lol.

Eh, not really. Politics are not that much different in many places. Names are changing, political arrow have different balance, etc.

Apparently, she's not a mod anymore. I was kinda out of loop about Doom community stuff for the last few months, so idk what exactly is happened, but a)she is not listed in "staff" page; b) her Doom wiki page was changed on March 25 "per request" with a sole correction - her mod status no longer mentioned; and c) her last DW post was also on March 25. Not Jabba is also missing from the staff list, but his Doom wiki page still says that he is a moderator. Looks like some serious scuffles taking place behind the scenes recently.

To my understanding, Moderators on Doomworld can't be ignored, so if you hover over a user's icon and there is no "Ignore User" option then you are looking at a moderator.

If someone drops their moderation privileges, it's possible they just did not want the responsibility anymore or couldn't dedicate the time to it. It's an unpaid, time-consuming, and thankless job after all.
