I didn’t really want to troll Doomworld and don’t think I did at all, I just really wanted to upload my map. In my drunken condeeshun it took 3 hours and one Memfis to figure that shit out and that FileZilla is a piece of crap. I can’t help that on my journey to the land of the gulag and censored speech that I saw cunts making horrible uses of their god given creativity and had to comment, could I? I mean seriously, look at this crap:  Only mappers such as SkillSaw and Dragonfly have the ability and colour coordination to pull off something so audaciously flamboyant. I get that cunts want to help and cuntribute in whatever way they can, but this is just taking the piss Also the audience is fucken mute, not even a gasp to be heard, just a gaspe. |

It’s not absolutely the worst I’ll admit, not like the Mars Monuments red recolours, but it’s certainly up there. For a start this is the cc4 sky1 texture, normally a white/grey sky with dark clouds. In these recolours this texture looks like a child’s messy finger painting.
A lot of your other recolours look gritty in the Doom way 40 and seem to fit, but you’ve done your fair share too. The major difference is that you have maps to go along with this sort of thing, which is the real meat of any Doom addon. I’m always happy to be proven wrong though if it means I get a kick arse new Doom map made from these dayglo skies.

Just want to explain the difference between trolling and being a cunt: When you are straight up calling cunts by name a cunt, whether drunk or not, that is not trolling it is called being a cunt. When you're doing little useless impotent things anonymously like a little coward, when you release a terrywad to the unsuspecting public, that is called trolling. A person who makes posts about hating doom and is also named Doomhater is a very hollow shell of a character. You gotta be deeper than that! FWIW it's worth, mrthejoshmon is right that I'm not on board with making sneak accounts to attack people on doomworld for no reason. The moderators ban and warn normal people for seemingly no reason. By making joke accounts to fuck with them, you're giving them a false sense of justification for what they do. It's also not very funny and probably hurtful to some people. I'm not telling you what not to do, I'm just saying that you really shouldn't want to do it. Just do something productive here instead. |

Just to clarify, that post was made 2 years ago, when I was much more edgy than I'm now and I did it out of boredom, just to get some reaction; I'm aware this was just a pointless shitpost, but at the time it was pretty amusing to me. I didn't try to piss anyone off by posting that, and if you look at the replies, nobody was offended by it. And, by the way, I never was against Doomworld; that post was just me having stupid fun.
Oh, and I don't shitpost like that anymore. Normally.

Look, idgaf a fuck about what justification they need to babysit the whole doom community. The issue is that the doomers that supported the prolification of the mods and reviews and gameplay videos and discussions that supported the growth of the community deserve more respect than that. Whether they are here, on facebook, or on doomworld. Anyone who plays Doom is a friend of mine. It's sad that people subject themselves to holding their tongues before commenting on things with any of their real gut feelings they may have at the risk of damaging their character, their reputation, and their posting priviliges just to be known on the main doom site.
As long as people keep making throwaway doom accounts on doomworld just to CUNT IT UP a little, or troll with terrywads or whatever the fuck they think they're doing to stick it to the man, the moderators there will continue to have a moral feeling of responsibility to keep telling people what to do, and how to behave and whatever. You're adding necessary bannings to their resumes, and it makes the people on that forum feel 'protected' by these people. But they're not interested in supporting Doomers, they're interested in getting respect and popularity points, probably because they don't get it enough in their own lives.
