This thread is commiting a code D violation of misinforming the public. You've indicated that this is a shit posting thread on the title, but this is merely content that interests you. Things you are interested in is not inherently a shit post. Hereby your thread has been demoted to a class T, which is my right to rename this thread to one that better informs the hungry public of the ingredients with in, and not an open invitation for others to shit where we eat.

Nice, I watched that video a couple weeks ago. It's good to know that my theories about those games being designed specifically to keep the player playing weren't so schizo/paranoid after all. I also have to shamefully say that I spent lots of time on such games in the past, but hey, everyone does dumb shit when they're young. I'm glad that I also spent time playing actual good games. I think the mere existence of games like this is a good argument for why video games are overall worse now. Sure it's not black and white, gaming sure improved in quite some parts in many genres, but I'm not sure they outweigh the negatives. Rest of the post was hilarious btw. |

good-old I've never played mobile games either, but it is alarming to see how abusive these advertising tactics are to fish for people that might pay for the paid parts of their games. It would be kinda funny really, the thought of making a doom wad where you only show screenshots of the really beautiful and impressive parts of your maps, and the rest of it is deliberately designed to be trash. But a real boss move would be to do the opposite, where you design trash levels, take screenshots of them, post your project thread, and post a link to different levels that you actually worked really hard on. You could then copy and paste the shitty levels in some random inaccessible part of the map so you're not technically lying.
