Level designer, and former doomworld member TimeOfDeath has started a new Doom forum. The forum has an emphasis on fun and humor, with future plans for editing videos and more playthrough videos, etc.

40oz, it's bound to happen, people gotta hate the boss, it's human nature  joe-ilya, I assume my webhosting provider has a similar TOS, plus proboards is really convenient and easy to set up. |

The trick to being a good admin is whenever people are mean to you, just do whatever they tell you. Always. No matter what. Always bend to their will, no matter how ridiculous it is. They will never stop being mean even if you ask them to stop, so you just forfeit your goals and give them all of your attention and power so you can let them run your forum from the background, controlling you like a marionet. Nice people will come and go but you should always treat them like they're just there to manipulate you. But you can always trust people that talk to you like you're a piece of shit. It takes a lot of effort to be mean to someone you know nothing about, so they deserve your respect than anyone who treats you with any decency. Nice people will want to be your friend and say nice things about you but don't ever listen to them! Mean people are the key to everything. Always respect the opinion of someone who calls you names on your own platform. Sometimes when people are mean, they will seem like they want to bully you into submission so they can run the forum without any of the accountability for what goes wrong with it and just bail when there's too much heat and leave you with the fire they caused, but that's a common misconception; an easy trap to fall into! The truth is its just a difference of politics. If you take the time to look inward and see the truth -- your sad feelings were born from some other doom forum, the living manifestation of the dichotomal politcal structure of the western globalist agenda. It's just creeping into your psyche. A symptom of being a selfish narcissistic maniac, the condition that comes from being a forum admin for more than 15 minutes. The mean people know all...!  |
