I could use this as an excuse to speedmap. I hope you enjoy sloppy rush jobs. Absolutely, 15 maps is a lot so we're going to have to lower the expectations of ourselves. The sloppiest of slop is more than welcome. Adding my own token hair-splitting question to the pile: It says "all iwads are allowed". Does that include Strife? if not that's ok, I do have a fallback plan. I'll go with the Official IWAD list from here: doomwiki.org/wiki/IWAD

#5 dmp24-todmega-03.zip (doom2, prboom-plus -complevel 2) I also updated the 05/06 zip files with max demos, so now there are max demos for all the maps.

Just started work on my wad. Made the first map in just 15 minutes. Here's the secret method I developed. Step 1: Draw a random shape. Step 2: Draw the rest of the fucking map.

So yeah, no Strife in the end - project is simply too big and has too many custom resources for the DMP. So, instead, it's a Doom megawad. No real plans, just making maps whenever I feel like it - Doom 2, vanilla compatible, tested in choco. Considering I made a whole UD megawad in two months, making a full 32 maps set by November is not an exceedingly tall order. Will see how it goes.

So yeah, blogging about my maps for this whenever I feel like it because yes. Won't do it regularly or for every map. Still aiming for a full 32 map vanilla-compatible megawad, only IWAD textures, including skies, OST will be todplays.wad with a couple replacements. I am also working on a palette that livens up the browns a bit. MAP01 - your typical BRONZE1 facility, roomy, lots of running around, easy entry point. Trying to be minimalist with texture usage for once. MAP02 - more compact, still mostly BRONZE, the gimmick is that you can save ammo by using the arachno to mow down part of the map, and that a secret lets you skip the key hunt. MAP03 - one of those maps where you zerk punch viles, that only I seem to enjoy. Too sad.
