What do you think about the idea of creating a wad with the theme of this film? There could be 11 levels and new sprites for weapons and monsters. Noisy Cricket would replace the pistol, or Tri-Barrel Pulsar would replace the shotgun.

Go for it, it could be cool!
It has to be you that does it though. "Be the change you want to see." Too often someone will just propose a project idea and expect others to do the work of putting it all together for them. You gotta put in the work because nobody else will, even if you just assemble it part of the way to a prototype stage. That's the point when people will be willing to help you out because there's something there to build off of, you can see what's working, what's missing, et cetera. Otherwise it's just a masturbatory ephemeral fantasy. I wish you luck though if you go through with it.
The shotgunner sprite from DBP33 could replace the player sprite very well.

Thanks, I made some weapon sprites a week ago. I hope I won’t waste my time in vain and the project will at least be playable. I will also try to look for suitable sprites (like the same dbp33) |
