They maliciously rape your processor trying to burn it out with 100% usage if an adblocker is detected.
I'd link to the tube video about it but I don't want to contribute to people's CPU's getting burned out. Youtube should be boycotted as much as possible while they do this (Good luck I know right).
I recommend rumble.com or bitchute.com as alternatives or even vimeo.

You just need to step up your game with anti-anti-anti-ad technology. I kinda gave up on videos though, for the most part. Most just aren't worth watching. And most of the web has gone full retard, regarless of ads. I can't remember exactly when, but it's been some years since the average web page contains an equivalent of registered Doom (4x 1.44 MB floppy disks) in javascript. And of course they track everything you do, even moving the mouse. Well except I don't have a mouse, and I browse with Links most of the time. This was the simplest solution for me to cut out all the bullshit websites that serve no real purpose.

Usually takes about thirty minutes, a little less if pre-warmed.
It's paramout to keep steady motions 'til it pass it's balmy state and starts bubbling - that's the cue to then sway from side-to-side.
No need to put much strength tho.. change hands if you must, still, firm but gentle.
After a while, you'll notice that the fluid will go about from the middle with ease but don't let it go just yet, hold-on a little longer.
Then, have a taste.
Check the texture with your tongue.
If is thick, sweet and silky: congrats, it's done!
You can put down the fire and let it rest for a while. Preferably under a fan.

The problem with alternative video sites is that they'll almost never have the same content until Youtube itself dies, so alternative frontends are the way to go, like Xeep mentioned. But they may eventually do something to fuck them up too. Look at Reddit for example, using any alternative frontends will cost money because Reddit charges API calls now. But of course most people are still using Reddit. How long before Youtube follows?

How long before Youtube follows? they can't, lol. they are already trying to block external downloaders with js (obfuscated js which obfuscates direct links). yt-dlp workarounds that with PhantomJS. and then it pretends that it is some old android OS, lol. and google cannot throw away support for old androids and smart-tvs, because customers will complain to phones/tvs vendors, not to google. and then vendors will fuck google in their collective ass, because vendors bought a license to use youtube in their products. so the only thing google can do is adding more obfuscation to their js layer. won't help much to block downloaders with fully-featured js engine.

Youtube, ""Meta"", Tiktok, Twatter, Apple, etc. are NOT "too big to fail"! Just look at what, over time, ended up happening to companies such as Kodak, Atari Inc., Blockbuster, Hollwyood video, Philips, Radioshack, Myspace, Commodore, Acorn Computing, Sears, and Sega. Each of those corporations were once big-league household names and in some cases, also UTTER GIANTS of their respective fields. Kodak refused to make the move on doing digital at the best of opportunities because film based cameras were seen as way more valuable and when they tried to catch up later on, it was too late. Atari Inc. ended up going too corporate and lacking in respect for most of their designers and coders & failed to fully shape up during the 1983-1984 game crash. Hollywood Video failed to move on with the times and pay its own debt. Blockbuster had its own debt problem, and shunned the notion of them going into streaming-type services at a critical moment, and when they did get into internet & streaming stuff, it was a mess. Philips went and fucked up many times in the 2000s with their decisions that shooed off investors galore, and now they mostly exist as a medical tech company. Radioshack was known for their Radio and TV stores, &later on, their lines of computers both hobbyists and businessmen (TRS-80 models 1,III,4 & the business-focused Models II, 12 and others, along with the MC-10 and pocket computer calculators), yet, due to many issues such as much debt, corporate infighting, and refusal to adapt to the new millenium, they too declared bankruptcy. Myspace, like Sega, didn't die completely, yet they failed in their own ways. Myspace failed to regain its relevance fully when Facebook allowed more ways to connect with other users on the platform, among other features. Sega screwed up with the 32X and handling of the Saturn in the West, and the Dreamcast, despite being substantially easier to program for, didn't one up Sony nor Nintendo.

they are too big to fail fast. and it doesn't matter how big you are, lawyers will happily tear any "giant" apart, if enough money is involved. and breaking your old deals WILL bring enough money for that.
i never said that "youtube is here to stay forever". they simply cannot go with more aggressive restriction schemes right now. they surely do want, but they can't yet.
i bet they applauded that recent attempt to kill youtube-dl, though. but it was a futile effort, because several forks spawned immediately. i am using yt-dlp fork, for example.
