My Abandoned Maps

Here are my UDMF maps that at some point nearly killed my desire for mapping. They're not really unfinished, a few months ago i would consider them final versions for what should have been the first episode to my own solo megawad. Then i realized that mapping in UDMF is unrewarding for a noob like me, who can only draw geometry, but doesn't have the knowledge of scripting, or the patience to learn and really take advantage of the advanced UDMF features. Not to mention that all i ever wanted was to make classic Doom maps, nothing too fancy like that, but with this format i wasn't doing it, the maps are needlessly bloated and unbalanced, poorly paced, and the combat is far from what i envision in a classic Doom level. Still, i feel it was necessary to go through the process of making them in order to switch to vanilla, limit-removing and boom mapping, so i can better appreciate these formats.
The only regret i have, is taking down the download links and closing my original thread, thinking that i would go back and try to rebalance and redesign the maps (hence, why i now consider them to be an abandoned work), before uploading them again... unfortunately that's not going to happen, i can never go back to UDMF mapping.
But since someone asked for them in my original thread, i decided to upload them here, and i will also add them to ModDB in the future, because i agree that every map should be preserved, even if its author doesn't like his work, others might still enjoy them.
The maps are tested in GZDoom and LZDoom. They run on ZDoom as well, but they show some graphical glitches in software mode, so that port is not recommended.

The maps are not compiled into one wad. Each map is in slot 01
Download now a single 7 map episode that can be played continuously: www.moddb.com/games/doom-ii/addons/deceiver-of-the-underworld
