Thirty Years with Doom is a new megawad for Doom 2 designed for PrBoom+um and Zdoom family source ports made by various members of Russian Doom Community, Doom Power.

i'm @ map26 and this is getting into the "bfging tens of archviles while dodging cyber rockets" late map slot territory, so might as well comment on the rest
probably the best russian megawad i've played, one of the best in recent memory overall, maybe the best doom tribute released on december 10th, not that it matters. first episode has some outstanding "doom 1" maps, not surprising given the names involved. the lainos map unfortunately confirmed that i don't really like lainos maps, but of course it's not fuckin bad, it's a lainos map. shadowman and bigmemka likewise deliver in their expected styles. rmg's layouts are maybe too structured for my taste but he managed some cool twists and turns, as well as a pretty ambitious city map in slot 17. slavius/shiroiakuma is probably my favorite mapper of this new wave (though he's indeed old blood), with map31 being a highlight for atmosphere. it's not grindy and doesn't lack ammo, but i'm playin uv continuous... pretty accessible for this style of mapping

Let's begin the playthrough of this megawad! When I'm going to record videos, I try to complete the selected megawad 100% on both kills and items with secrets. And, of course, I will play at the Ultra-Violence difficulty. I hope that this walkthrough will seem interesting or useful to someone.

Map07 contains the secret exit to Map31. In that way, the first secret map is also a part of the first episode and contains only monsters and weapons from the first Doom. The Wolfenstein SS replacement also debuts on this map.
