The parent company of popular video game review series featuring the fast-talking comedic narrator, Yahtzee, made a big oops last week. The parent company Gamurs fired its editor in chief over discrepancies about not achieving team goals. After years of moving goalposts, the company decided to fire the EIC, which cascaded with a mass resignation at the company, including their top video editors and of course, Yahtzee, the starring voice for their video reviews. As of now the Escapist website is still up, but the company is now missing all of its best talent and content creators.
Yahtzee and the former editor in chief for the escapist have recently announced that they will be partnering to form their own video game related media company called second wind.
