NOT a Metroidvania game from Konami!

Finally got around to playing this and unfortunately found out it's a Roguelite and not as good as Dead Cells. Didn't die until the second boss and then found out oh crap I'm back at the beginning which was really disappointing. Haven't played since. The stages are somewhat Metroidvania-ish, though it's still just Roguelite type stage progression.

The art style is amazing and it's somewhat fun to play, but Dead Cells is just a plain better Roguelite (with actual Castlevania stages!). They should have made Getsu Fuma Den: The Undying Moon just normal stage progression without the back to the beginning BS. People say it's really short but really grindy to improve your stuff through repeated replays, so apparently the game is short on actual content.

All that said, there's some real major bullshit Konami pulled. It requires an internet connection to play single player. So don't give them any money for this as long it stays that way.
