40oz matador per DW thread, it seems there is a trigger in MAP04 that works only in -cl9, making the map unbeatable in -cl2. Probably qualifies as an urgent fix.

Gokuma , in addition to the bug SilverMiner posted above, how do you lower the bars in the graveyard? I tried playing the map (not on cl2) and wasn't able to find anything to lower them.

The file has been updated (link is the same)
MAP01 added a secret for 100% secrets MAP02 added a secret for 100% secrets MAP04 floors that wouldn't lower now lower. MAP07 Changed the red door markers to yellow MAP11 Added an imp that gets crushed, an armor bonus, and a secret sector for 100% Kills/Items/Secrets

The text file needs to be updated cause it says I was one of the testers even though I never tested any maps for this DBP.

Also there's a softlock in my map. If you go back to the blue door hallway you can use a lift (it raises when you enter the exit switch closet) to get back to the start of the map, but the lift can't be lowered.

*Sigh* This is why people shouldn't practice their telekinesis on dangerous advanced (and expensive) military hardware. They're lucky they didn't microwave their nuts. Well I'm investigating what went wrong, comparing my last upload, the initial release, and the fixed release. I guess I should have tested more after later changes. I'm not sure at what point complevel 2 broke for people. I did recently move the activations for the main central floor and its surrounding steps, but it doesn't make any sense how that made those little walls not lower. Apparently 40oz fixed it by changing my linedef special type 19 lower to highest floor to special 38 lower to lowest floor, and it looks a little different but works in cl 2 again. And 40oz had the foresight to do the same at the SSG. I have to watch that continuous play demo when I have time because the plasma rifle flying up into the ceiling is some really weird new crap. Testing a very early version of my map in PrBoom-plus on whatever is default complevel, it was throwing the plasma rifle and SSG a little away off ledge as the wall there lowered which I thought was just funny, but then it stopped after a while or as I tried different Booms. If this isn't resolved yet, then the hitbox of whatever weapon needs to not overlap with the lowering wall. So those two walls would have to be thinner and possibly moved back, while the weapons are moved closer to the edge. I'm really sorry this totally porked a continuous playthrough recording. matadorAs for lowering the exit bars, it seems to be working fine in all versions, whatever complevel. The switch for that is right here: Just a distance of 1288 away from the bars. A little sad this Cwil03 was deleted from the fixed version so you can't see the full name in game anymore. Could just abbreviate the name shown in automap but leave this maybe, If anyone is wondering about the pronunciation, the is like a double L in Welsh. Just be careful because if you pronounce the 27th syllable wrong, it could constrict the bloodflow to your brain and cause a stroke.

A little sad this Cwil03 was deleted from the fixed version so you can't see the full name in game anymore. Could just abbreviate the name shown in automap but leave this maybe, Wait it's gone? That's lame. I played a scattering of a few maps so far in the first version, and one of these was Gokuma's map because the name made me smile. I still owe the rest a go.

Played map01-map06 with Heretical Doom mod this time on Gzdoom. Completely forgot that this mode makes the classic doom enemies more unexpectable so map 6 was quite a ride during the Red key church segment. Amazing work so far.

Everytime I'm in danger of forgetting why I left Doomworld, someone kindly comes along and reminds me. Watch out kids, never more than four enemies at a time in your DBPs!11! Would love to see how they took the AVJ + RJ in my map, must have been a field trip for them.

Thanks, Too bad that my main goal is to leap out of my comfort zone while i mapping for DBP's and trying to make maps that actually gives me a challenge too not just a quick 5 minute run.

^ Aurora was a nice slaughter one, it allowed me to avoid fighting almost anytime, except for one arachnotron I had to shoot so that it didn't obstruct my way to some door
