A new update to the EDGE-Classic website last week allows players to play Doom through the EDGE-Classic source port directly on your browser. This gives Doomers a chance to do a readily available trial run of the source port on any machine with no installation required. The application also allows you to load optional PWADs into it locally from your device.

Quick note - The initial loading process may take a while as it will need to fetch the Freedoom Phase 2/FreeDM IWADs, but after that they will remain cached. Also, your mileage may vary based on what WebGL acceleration is available; I had better luck with Chrome/Chromium based browsers than Firefox, for example.
