Speedrunner Kimo Xvirus made a return to Doom speedrunning after a nearly 10-year hiatus. In a very odd choice of comeback, he set the new record for Ultimate Doom E3M1 UV-Max at 1:00.11, beating the previous record by over a second and a half.
In the text file he gives a wise bit of wisdom to the readers: "do yourself a favor and don't run this map, do something else worthwhile instead with your time". According to him, it took him 2834 attempts.
