I added a subforum for 'Doom News' which will be a space for reading and commenting on current events surrounding Doom and it's community.
As a massive Doom fan, it's hard to avoid the feeling of FOMO when there's stuff happening or being talked about in places I don't remember or don't have the privilege of downtime to watch over. Basically, the world of doom-related content is diffused across too many different platforms. In my opinion, I feel this keeps people who are perpetually online 'in the know' while the rest are left in the dark and I don't think that's fair. It's a strange feeling that has been following me for years to share the community with people who have established opinions about doom-related things I didn't even know existed. The object of this forum would be to shine spotlights on new stuff that's happening that is relevant to Doom and Doom fans everywhere.
The official Doomer Boards account is the only one that can create new threads there, and it will reference anything that is considered interesting that doom community members and fans might be interested to know.
