Deus Ex: Revision is out...and it's Steam-exclusive

Just found out that a mod I've been waiting years to play has finally come out...BUT......get this, it only works for the Steam version of the game it modifies. This means that if you own the physical version of the game, or the Gog version of the game(both of which are DRM-free), you must now purchase the game AGAIN from Steam( and be subject to Digital Rights Management) in order to experience this mod.
It's not a question of money, because honestly the game is not expensive. It's a question of principles. These modders made a decision to make a quick buck by making their mod Steam-exclusive and in the process are enriching Steam by forcing people who already own this game on another format to re-purchase it if they wish to enjoy this "free" mod. That's shitty, any way you cut it. Too bad. I won't be playing this mod or supporting this team in any way. Below are links to both their website and their Facebook page.
