I just purchased Sharpshooter 3D, I decided to give an extra $3. It looks hilarious.

Hey in regards of regular day, i though the reason was abandoned was because the dev eat more than he could chew and he decided to give up working on it.

I liked the skinhead subculture and music since I was a teenager. It reminds me of a more polished version of Grezzo Due.

This thread calmed me down for not being able to view/download or share wads on those sites.... I cant believe sharpshooter was taken down, good stuff. Ive been sleuthing threw archive . org for "rare" doom wads and other pc games, downloaded doom3 from there and its a trip, never had the chance to play it. Only time Ive seen some wad get banned is when some douche opens it, then reports to idgames or forum moderators...like my baby sitter map where doomkid gets left at home alone and his (naked caco) nanny assaults him.

Consider this:

- A wad where you have to create a filing system for your business expense receipts so you don't get audited by the IRS. This is a political wad.

- A wad where you go to a town hall meeting and speak in front of the parks and recreation department about how there should be accessibility ramps at the playground in the public park so children with physical disabilities can play with their friends. This is a political wad.

- A wad where you open up the phonebook and make cold calls to residents asking them to participate in a rally for someone who is running for county treasurer this sunday. You can tell them that there will be free bottled water and a showing of "Despicable Me 2" so they won't need to hire a babysitter. This is a political wad.

- A wad where you go to the city hall department of zoning to ask for the proper form to fill out so that you can obtain the zoning rights to build an inground swimming pool on your own property. Then you fill out the form and turn it in using the proper channels. This is a political wad.

People wouldn't play a poltical wad if it was actually political, because there's nothing fun about negotiating with the government in real life. It's boring, it takes forever, and when completed, hopefully it improves your community and your quality of life in some meaningful way. Why would you simulate the work in a game only to not even reap the fruits of doing it in real life?

You're not even being very candid in your sanitized descriptions of wads that are "too political." You're depicting a visual and interactive medium that is explicitly designed as targetted harrassment of an individual and groups. That to play it, the author has compelled the player to inadvertently participate in that harrassment, either actively, or passively ('passively' being watching the harrassment take place and not being able to intervene in any way.), sometimes streaming it live in front of an audience.

It would be hilarious to be this disingenuous about what a "political wad" is if you didn't sound so sincere in your convictions.
