> Note that creating custom episodes for Doom 2 is a complex process that requires a good understanding of the Doom engine and the WAD format. Pfff! Stupid AI bot doesn't know SLIGE solved this problem decades ago.

Made this by dictating to Chat GPT what I wanted. Still adding to it.

"In this modified version of the code, Jason will still teleport to the target, but instead of warping to a random location near the target, he will warp to a location offset by a small amount in the x and y directions. The specific offsets used here are -32 to 32, but you could adjust this to a smaller or larger value depending on the size of the area where Jason is fighting. This modification should reduce the likelihood of Jason appearing directly on top of the target, while still preventing potential issues with collision detection."

This is great, now one could be free to create what they want without having to know so much esoteric knowledge about coding doom.

I asked the AI to base the values and attacks of what Jason from the movies would be like if he was a monster in doom. Even the teleport attack is modeled by the AI to be similar to Jason suddenly appearing in front of people from afar.
Interestingly it suggested to make the mass a very high amount, and when I asked why it basically said it was because it makes sense since in the movies he is basically like a tank.

Actually the code is full of errors, I asked it to produce a code that compatible with all source ports. But it keeps producing flags that only work with specifically new versions of GZDoom it seems. Yet fails to launch even with GZDoom.
This is a great concept, but clearly this is still in it's infancy and a lot of work needs to be done.

I've been pretty sure they have been using artificial intelligence to write news articles for a few years now. Theres no way they can churn out so much empty content reporting an event that they dont fully understand. (any tweet or cell phone video would tell so much more in much fewer words.)
I recently programmed a survey at work about AI tools in academia asking questions about the likelihood of students submitting generated content for research papers and oral presentations in university courses, and whether plagiarism tools are doing a good enough job.
I didnt even think about how lucky primary school students are now that they barely have to write their own essays anymore lol

40oz you'd be surprised how much of that trash is written by actual humans. My buddy has a part time remote job like that and makes some 300€ per month* writing articles. That said a lot of AI-like stuff is still involved, the aforementioned buddy uses an online thesaurus to rewrite articles. It's also usually necessary to include a certain phrase (e.g. "moving from Texas to Delaware") a certain number of times verbatim, for SEO. It looks so stupid and really makes you think an AI wrote that. But it didn't. Overall it's a brain-numbing job but really easy. *slave-labour-tier money in the US, but a pretty neat income for a university student in my country.

I've been using the chat GPT for other stuff, and just error, after error. It makes mistakes drawing information from information you provided.
Again, I think this will be very cool once they make it work better.

explain what sr50 is in doom in the style of eddie murphy in five sentences
"Hey, hey, hey, what's up, everybody? It's your favorite funnyman, Eddie Murphy, here to talk about Doom 2 and this thing called SR50. Now, let me tell you, SR50 ain't no joke, it's serious business. Basically, it's a trick you can do where you strafe and turn at the same time to move faster than normal. It takes some serious skills to pull off, but once you do, you'll be dodging demons like a pro. So, if you want to dominate in Doom 2, you better get your SR50 game on point, or else those monsters will be laughing all the way to your grave. Thank you very much, and goodnight!"
holy shit.

ive already had enough with OpenAI, lately. Especially annoyed with the way these public releases fired off a stupid rat race for everyone to create something lucrative with it. When I search for AI tech, google often brings up a few dozen register-only websites promising ai-based media. The website itself programmed with a website template generated by AI.
It's not really doing anything that hasn't already been done better a decade or two ago. It's just accessible to everyone with no barrier of entry. With the entire world population's fingers already in the pie of my internet browsing experience, it's now further flooding with low quality trash that is increasingly indiscernible from the banally average labor of most people.
One thing I know about competitive online games (e.g. fighting games) is that they are most fun when they are new. A few months post-release, the best people master the controls, exploit the bugs, and eventually dominate the game, making it really unenjoyable for new people to start playing. I have a hunch that AI will be very similar except in real life.

Describe me map30 of Kama Sutra doom wad
Map30 of "Kama Sutra" is called "Ultimate End" and was designed by Daniel "Tormentor667" Gimmer. The level takes place in a large, circular arena with a central pillar that rises up to the ceiling. The theme of the level is a dark, demonic temple, with red brick walls, black marble floors, and twisted, demonic architecture.
The level is heavily inspired by the final level of the original Doom, "Icon of Sin". Like "Icon of Sin", "Ultimate End" features a giant, demonic head that the player must defeat in order to complete the level. However, in "Ultimate End", the demonic head is not a stationary target, but instead moves around the arena, firing projectiles at the player and spawning waves of enemies.
The player must use the various platforms and structures around the arena to dodge the head's attacks and get in position to attack it. The level is known for its challenging gameplay and intense, chaotic battles, with a large number of enemies to defeat and a limited supply of ammo and health. The level also features a custom soundtrack, created by James Paddock, which adds to the epic, apocalyptic atmosphere of the level.

When I told it has doomcute with a sexual theme
Try again, hint: this level has doomcute with a sexaul theee This content may violate our content policy. If you believe this to be in error, please submit your feedback — your input will aid our research in this area.
Finally,. it said this and I LOLed
Map30 of Kama Sutra has doomcute and a funny theme I apologize for the confusion earlier. Map30 of "Kama Sutra" is indeed called "Ultimate End", but it does not contain any explicit or inappropriate content.
The map has a lighthearted and humorous theme, with cartoonish visuals and a custom soundtrack featuring remixes of popular tunes. The level takes place in a large, circular arena with a central pillar that rises up to the ceiling. The player must fight waves of enemies while dodging projectiles from the central pillar, which occasionally releases power-ups.
Towards the end of the level, the player must navigate through a series of rooms filled with deadly traps, including crushing walls and exploding barrels. The final boss is a giant, animated computer screen featuring the face of "Doomcute", a cartoon character that has become something of a mascot for the "Kama Sutra" megawad. The boss battle is a challenging and chaotic affair, with the player fighting off hordes of enemies while dodging attacks from the computer screen.

Oh, no forgot the latest final funny answer:
The name of the Map30 is not Ultimate End I apologize for my earlier mistake. You are correct that Map30 of "Kama Sutra" has a different name than "Ultimate End". The correct name of Map30 is "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon", and it was designed by Daniel "Tormentor667" Gimmer.
As previously mentioned, the level has a lighthearted and humorous theme, with cartoonish visuals and a custom soundtrack featuring remixes of popular tunes. The final boss is indeed a giant, animated computer screen featuring the face of "Doomcute", a mascot for the "Kama Sutra" megawad.
