Sometimes when listening midis I use foobar2000 with foo_midi plugin (I dunno which version actually)
here's my settings: Set all boxes in "looping" on, and set When loop info detected. Without these I was getting double duration until halloween preparations, everything you hear here can be exported, in particular to mp3. Nuclear option is like opl3 with banks. I didn't try to bring in mine. FM sounds cool
I don't remember how I added S-YXG50 there, it's a VSTi I'm using in my win7
Midis are added to playlists via drag'n'drops.
places to get .sf2 I remember:

Thats pretty cool, thanks for sharing. i actually didnt think about this but i don't even have a proper way to listen to midis. usually ill just open a wad in slade to listen to the music inside.
ill try this out.
im very interested in "this is the way i do xyz" threads.

Cubic Player for DOS, with GUS patches FTW.
But, this is probably as good as it gets for Windows.
Thanks! 👍

Cubic Player for DOS, with GUS patches FTW. I think I might try that one. I wish I had like a real GUS PnP
