Rank your preferred ways for killing a cyberdemon
1. Plasma gun
2. BFG (if low ammo, otherwise 1.)
3. Rocket Launcher
4. Super shotgun
5. Chaingun
6. Berserk
7. Shotgun
8. Chainsaw
9. Pistol
10. Unberserked fist
maybe im a baby but i find cyberdemons too reflexive to trust them to let me two-shot them with the bfg. i dont usually play with saves and cyberdemons usually come late in a map so its always a big risk. Not trying to throw the game just to be a daredevil.
ill chainsaw a cybie before i tickle it to death with a pistol though.

My preferred way is to spam BFG or plasma. Or make him infight and use SSG once everyone except the cyberdemon are dead. If there's enough space to reliably dodge his rockets, then I'll try to two-shot him.

When I'm not feeling patient:
1. BFG 9000
When I'm feeling patient and there's room to maneuver:
1. Berserk Fist
2. Crusher
Usually:
1. Plasma Rifle
2. SSG
3. Rocket Launcher
If there's an invulnerability sphere:
1. Chainsaw
The opportunity for telefragging or a reasonably fast death by infighting takes priority over all those as 1 and 2.

Demon gangbang > Plaz > SSG > BFG > Berserk > Other
Luv me Plasma spam, and SSG is extra fun in close quarters combat where splash damage becomes a major threat.
And of course landing a solid BFG hit and sending a Cyberdemon flying backwards feels good mang.
But nothing tops watching a crowd of Revenants whapping Cybie's fat cheeks to death. It's like ethical snuff porn.
