I've been told by people who lived in the 1970s, only a few people endeavored to be "cool" and have "style". Most people were what most people today call "normies". Then eventually posers in many subcultures started to appear, which is basically normies failing at being legitimately a part of a cool subculture. Today I don't even know wtf is going on, because I've been a normie for about 4 years now.

Voting for Donald Trump was my gateway drug for becoming a normie. I didn't want to be a poser Republican, so I got married in a church, started a family, and bought a house. Now I'm aggressively investing for retirement, and considering a second property in Florida.
