the end of kiwi farms (or new beginning)

yet kiwifarms is alive and feeling ok. tbh, most kiwis didn't even noticed anything unusual, because onion address is ok, and The Farms are accessible via Tor (as it always was). so the only cloudflare achievement is perfect hiding of The Farms from most lolcows (because they're really dumb, and will never be able to run Tor, nor even download Tor Browser; and they don't know the address now anyway, lol).

but of course, kiwis are slightly angry now. and, incidentally, more secure, because now everybody is forced to use Tor to access The Farms. so thank you, cloudflare, for making The Farms even more secure, it was a brilliant move.

It's got multiple domains that are still up, and the userbase is pretty confident in the owner's ability to keep the site afloat. I doubt anyone would migrate unless they really had to.

Kiwi farms is a hard place. I have (had?) an account there but I can't really spend much more time there than the occasional binge, once or twice per year. Other than documenting Chris-chan and a few other magnificently retarded individuals, I find it hard to understand the purpose of that place. A lot of it was/is like the really boring, almost spammy-feeling, parts of /r9k/. Lots of talk about tr@nn1€s and shit. I mean ok but does every single topic have to devolve to how tr@nn1€$ are disgusting? Tr@nn1€$ tr@nn1€$ tr@nn1€$. Like ok we get it. There was a pretty funny thread called "most disgusting tr@nn¥?" but it was ONE thread. Not EVERY thread. I swear half of kiwi farms might as well be neural-net-generated.
What I mean by this is that it getting "soft taken down" was probably inevitable. For every 100 people who just wanted to laugh at chris-chan there's one idiot who legitimately gets off of harrassing people. Have your fun but ffs don't ruin other people's fun because of it.
I don't envy Null (the owner) either. Having to look after so many of the aforementioned retards and to make sure they don't do anything too retarded must be terrible on a forum of that size.

I dunno... I guess it's only ok when it's Twitter creeps harassing you, doxing you, going after your family members, boasting about destroying your primary source of income when they get your Patreon taken down and get you banned from twitch for not even expressing a hot take.. Kiwifarms isn't even half as evil as some of these little shits that get away with murder in broad daylight because they think they're on the right side of history on a multi billion dollar social media platform that spent millions on "combating extremists" but willfully ignores these insane people. When people on the other side do 1/10th of what you're guilty of then it's harassment.

Keffals is a monster.

Adding an "ist" term to someone that doesn't want to yield "what it's ok to speak about" to "activists" triggers my autism.. especially with the direction the internet is heading..

In comparison to such cesspits as resetera, neogaf, ovarit, reddit, Twitter, etc. Farms are relatively alright.

Either somebody finally catches the person who called in the swat or Josh's autism would end up spending money to create his own internet.Or call it quits Idk. One thing I will say is Keffals is a freaking idiot for fleeing to Ireland. All they had to do was cut off the ACAB shit out and talk to the police about the swatting. Once they've known what happened they'll work with you by preventing a swat call happening again by making sure they're contacting Keffals first.

The (real) swatting attack was just Canadian police knocked at their door asking "Hello there are you gonna commit domestic terrorism on Canadian soil? No? Okay take care!" and went on their merry way on their Moose carriages.


On that Cloudflare part. It turned out to be some users glow posting towards keffals. Sending them text-to-speech phone calls threats (same as MTG except she's a boomer and has no clue about the internet besides being another based Mommy milkers). Plus it turns out Cloudflare lied about standing their ground because of it, despite them allowing other fucked up sites to thrive with their buisness. Which prompt some stupid shit such as begging a Ukraine hosting to drop the farms despite them currently fleeing from their lives from Russian bombardmants.
Another part of the drop was some Irish teenager bragging about doxing Keffals and name dropping the farms on /pol/ with a pic of the letter,in which Josh had contacted the Irish Police to go after to save his ass.(Nobody talks about that one sadly.)

And now we're here on the Tor saga. Which really to me it feels like the most gayest operation I have ever witnessed against any website. They still haven't found the person who was called in the Swatting because the Farms is a threat to democracy.

One things for sure, its already causing some site admins to quietly drop out from cloudflare because of it.

And I will admit, the only thing I used the farms was for the Off-topic discussion boards don't even have an account on there just like the fact I can find discussions on stuff I like without people dumping poltical shit over "muh-white race" or thread derailments.
