My pc internet is back, and i am making a project. the project is called Der Terror des reiches. (roughly translates to The Terror of the Reich) or DTDR for short. And i am looking for developers to make this a possibility! just a forwarning, you need to have a discord account in order to become a developer so you can join the dev team server. So what is DTDR? Der Terror des Reiches is a ww2 story driven shooter utilizing the doom engine that places you in the boots of a German soldier. your character has the utmost faith in the fatherland and the Fuhrer, until he finds out the Nazi's atrocities The amount of maps it will contain is not determined yet, but it will be a massive, beautifully designed experience that runs on GZDoom. This project will also be attached to the Doom Haven forum and Discord server. but i will upload it here! if you are interested in becoming a Developer, dm me and send me your discord tag so i can add you to the server!    These are all the images i can take at the moment. i dont have much done on this project. |

Deathclaw886, before you start asking for help on your new mega-cool-and-whatnot project, make sure you have something to show first (screenshots, map downloads, etc). Keep in mind we've already seen thousands of upcoming projects that actually never got done.

Deathclaw886, before you start asking for help on your new mega-cool-and-whatnot project, make sure you have something to show first (screenshots, map downloads, etc). Keep in mind we've already seen thousands of upcoming projects that actually never got done. ah true. you have a point. unfortunately i dont have much done on it but ill share what i have so far |

First of all those screenshots look like you ripped the Decorate from Blade of Agony or something and put it in a map you made in 5 minutes. Second of all if you want this to be a "massive experience", you likely aren't gonna find a developer for that just because they really like your never-before seen concept. And that's all you've got so far, a concept. All that your project is so far is "it's gonna be HUGE and you'll be able to SHOOT NAZIS in it". And lastly learn how to use the long S for fuck's sake. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_s#RulesWhat I'm saying is: check your possibilities. Try making one good map with the resources and maybe then you'll have a developer. |

Xeep-Eep hes allowed to talk about his project idea and ask who is interested. i know after 51 dbps that having a map done and resources compiled doesnt get you to help work on it. This isnt doomworld, dont borrow their rules and apply them here. we havent actually seen thousands of projects posted here and thus far, the completion rate for the few projects that are posted here has got to be like 75% at least.

40oz please reply to things I have said, not things you think I said or things you wish I said. I told him why he is unlikely to attract anyone with specific reasons, not that he's not allowed to do it. But anyway good luck deathclaw wither way. If you need someone to draw sector penises, I just might know a guy.

Xeep-Eep you should take your own advice. No one on this thread has stated that they're disinterested, and Deathclaw is not demanding a point-by-point rundown to know why these invisible people aren't excited. This is his project idea and he's posting on this forum to ask if anyone wants to help him. It's good that he's using the forum to inform people about it so he doesn't have to repeat himself to every individual person elsewhere. You don't need to try to convince me you wrote that original thought out yourself, it's a copy-pasted project template thats used at doomworld.
