Apparently, Russian Doom Community central site is down for more than a week now. Anyone know what happened? I mean, they have a terribly toxic forum and a site itself was full of warez, but there might be some wads that are lost to time now, in case it's completely closed.

If it's really down for good, then 2022 is a sad year for the non-English doom community. (YES IT EXISTS.) The Croatian website (doom.com.hr) that also hosts Compet-N is also getting closed soon. |

And no, there was no warez. At all. It just took me three clicks from the main page to find both doom.wad and doom2.wad, one click less for tnt and Plutonia. You can fool the yankees but you can't fool a fellow Slav.  Don't get me wrong though, thanks Russians. If it wasn't for iddqd.ru I would've still had that one leaked 1994 doom2.wad that's blacklisted from multiplayer. And uhhhhh I'll stop at that to avoid breaking the terms of service... |

I think there's a misunderstanding Warez just means pirated stuff, distributing stuff for free against the rules. The word sounds a bit sketchy but afaik it doesn't necessarily mean "virus infested shithole a-la Pirate Bay". |
