So uh been a long time since my monitor died due to which I haven't done anything I did regularly on my PC, such as visiting these boards and all that Anyway, as the title says, what brand do you suggest for a monitor? Am looking for a 16:9 one.

Brands don't matter really. Lots of good brands out there and they have many models in all shapes, sizes and price ranges. Size, resolution, refresh rate, available connections - these are the things to start from. Also, budget. How much are you willing to spend, and which region will you be buying in (as availability and prices vary greatly)?

Oh yeah, should have mentioned those, even though I'm not looking for anything specific:- Size:- Around 40 x 25 cm Resolution:- 1920x1080 Refresh rate:- Doesn't matter to me, 60 Hz would do Available connections:- One HDMI port Budget is around 120$ Oh, and the region part, long story about hating the fact that I live here and blah blah so I can't say that. I'll just say "yes" and "no" for the availability part.

Most monitors nowadays are made for DisplayPort and HDMI. Looking for a monitor with native VGA support will relegate you either to the used market or alternative type stuff. If you're buying new you'll want a VGA to HDMI adapter most likely (to convert an VGA out signal to HDMI, for a monitor to accept); these are about $12 USD on Amazon to give you an idea of how much they cost.

Actually, VGA is not uncommon on the lower-end of the price spectrum, which $120 definitely is. The problem is actually the combination of requested resolution, size and price. 40x25cm is kinda small. It is roughly the size of a 19" monitor, and these come at a resolution of 1440x900 (for 8:5) or even worse - 1366x768 (for 16:9). It is possible to get one at around $120, though, at least in the US, for example: www.newegg.com/viewsonic-va1903h-19-wxga/p/N82E16824116967With that said, if these are strict boundaries, it is not so much a matter of getting a recommended monitor, so much as just finding anything that fits the bill.

Well those aren't strict boundaries, just the preferred ones, like I said, I'm not looking for anything specific. I may go for higher sizes now that you mentioned how those usually don't do the resolution, although 1600x900 would do too. Also, increase the budget to 180$.

Oh hell yeah, I picked up a really cool monitor for wholesale price, which was 130$, and exceeded my expectations. I guess I won't have to sacrifice an extra terabyte of storage for a monitor now. HELLLL YEEEEAAAHH I FINALLY HAVE A WORKING PC LESSSSGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

If you want I can send you a picture of my cock, I think it would look great on your new monitor as a wallpaper. I washed it just the other week. My cock, not your monitor.

Sorry but Islam is homophobic man, I can't let my parents see that, them taking a glance at my monitor is not that uncommon.
