Meh, you seem fine, harukoharuhara123. You don't post as frequently as... some others, so you don't mess up the signal-to-noise ratio relatively speaking. And it's always non-offensive stuff, and sometimes it's mildly interesting but not enough for myself to dive too deeply into or comment on. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

No one is saying you can't post about shopping for CDs in the fucking Goodwill. But *why* the fuck should I, or anyone else, care?

Protip: anything can be made interesting. Use words. Fucking, I dunno, review some songs, describe the fucking horrendous cat-piss smell of the Goodwill. Pretend you are actually having a conversation with people rather than just talking at them. If this shit is seriously the most interesting thing that happened to you this week then you can make a more convincing fucking case for not killing yourself, no?

You know, I was trying to think of something to write in the "modems and why internet 1.0 was better" thread, but it was just going to devolve into another rant about how the centralization of the internet has homogenized humanity into pre-packaged boxes of shit. Man, there was a Doomer some years ago who literally pooped in his own hands and ate in on livestream for like eight dollars and some change. That's a true laughingstock, not a guy who talks about CDs.

As I said before, the problem isn't you, it's just that the content you post doesn't interest the people who are part of the forum(s) you're on. You don't need to worry about what people think about you as a person, because I can guarantee you it's not as bad as you think it is. For example, BIG DICK NIGGA has expressed his dislike for me several times, and I for him. But that doesn't mean that either one of us actually hate each other, or even really dislike each other. It just means we don't care for one another's posts. But if Xeep makes a post I like, about something I'm interested in, I'll comment on it and interact with him as I would any other member. And I'm sure he would do the same if I made a post he was interested in. People on the internet usually don't even think about other people on the internet until their name pops up or they come across one of their posts. And it's not because of any positive OR negative feelings, it's just that there are always going to be other discussions with other people happening.

One thing I will say, however, is that referring to yourself as the "laughing stock of the community" is generally a bad idea that will only compell people (who otherwise wouldn't care) to mock you, because they view it as a pity-party sympathy comment, even if you were being genuine and not saying it for attention.

Joe does make a point that I agree with: if you don't like a place, just leave. I don't say that out of any disrespect to this forum or its people, or to you. But it's obvious that your interests don't allign with this place, or Doomworld for that matter, when it comes to this CD stuff. There are plenty of forums dedicated to music where people might find it interesting. Doom forums just aren't the right place.

You also need to do a little more PI work in regards to the people you are responding to, peep was a troll who likely had no idea who you even were. They were just looking for someone to insult.
