i was wondering what my favorite cd of all time is. but i think i have multiple because i noticed there are some albums that i always listen to again and again , with out starting to feel bored about it. and i was wondering if many other people have that. so here are some of the albums that do that for me. okay on the first place is this one : its called show no mercy , and it was recorded by a band called slayer , and its their first cd , i have all of their cds except for the latest 3 ones , which would be : relentless ( it s boring ) , i dont have diabolus in musica ( its not that good ) , i dont have world painted blood ( this one is also boring ) but every cd they made until 2006 is really good and i have all of them except for diabolus in musica. and i would say that every slayer album except reign in blood and south of heaven are my favorite albums of all time. and yes i even consider the album with stolen songs from punk bands as my favorites because they sound really awesome on that album. and yes i even love god hates us all even if this cd sounds like hardcorepunk.
i also like strngth power will passion by holy moses , and queen of siam by holy moses. these are the best cds this band has made i think. and i like zombie attack by tankard , and two faced by tankard, those are the best cds they ever made. but i can t tell if tankard has a male singer or a woman like holy moses because it sounds kinda similar to holy moses singing , so i googled for that but i think this is a guy. but it was confusing.
those are the best albums that i can listen to for many years without feeling bored of them. so you can tell me yours. because i would like to discover more great music that way.

To be honest, I don't own any music in physical form. I've been thinking of buying vinyl but that stuff's far above my budget so I'd have to settle for CDs (though I'd probably scratch them before I even get a proper listen lol)

Sure, sure. In terms of digital music it's hard for me to decide my all time favorite album due to me listening to so much music but I think I've decided. My pick would be No NOW by Clarence Clarity. It's an amazing experimental pop (I think) album and it's really, really good. I can't really put it into words. Here's a playlist of all the songs that are in the record: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGgD8QHAH8BRNY4IqYerubIY_Ax7-yRcV

When I was a kid, my dad had a vinyl of Chopin's preludes (and a few other pieces) performed by the French pianist Alfred Cortot. This one. That one is still one of my all-time favorites, although I have neither the vinyl, nor the equipment that could play it if I had it.

So many excellent albums. I really enjoy Another Green World by Brian Eno. It's a fusion of minimalist ambient and electronic music and more traditional "pop" songs. For being recorded in 1974, Another Green World sounds very ahead of it's time, tonally it is incredibly rich and organic. It all features many great musicians alongside Eno, such as Robert Fripp on guitar, John Cale on keys and viola, John Wetton on bass guitar, etc. There's lots more albums that would fit in my favorite slot, Blood on the Tracks and Blonde on Blonde by Bob Dylan, Abbey Road and The White Album by the Beatles, Lark's Tongues in Aspic and Red by King Crimson, etc. But that's probably too much to write about now.

Of all time? Christ, I've been alive too long to narrow that shit down.
Guess it might be City by Strapping Young Lad, though Blackjazz by Shining came pretty damn close to dethroning it.
