Performative question

Here is another political idea of mine: the protagonist is a descedant of indigenous people that were brutally overwhelmed (killed/enslaved) by colonialists who possessed technological advantage (guns). Willing to punish those colonialists of the past for what they did to his kin, he finds out the gate to hell located (in the temple built by aboriginals) which takes him precisely to the area of hell where they - as a zombies - now deservedly resided. The area is a warped version of the land of aboriginals (signified by appropriate texturing), the zombies are outfitted with the guns ofc. That area is also plagued with regular Doom demons, but he is willing to face the challenge to achieve his vendetta.

The protagonist face of course has to reflect his heritage - he is not some white doomguy.
