This WAD is a pair of large maps I originally intended for DBP35 and DBP37. MAP01 is 35's contribution. It wasn't completed on time and was too big, so this will be a totally new map to just about everyone. MAP02 is my MAP10 "Photon Geyser" (lmao) from DBP37, but now presented here as how I originally intended it + many new changes/additions. It's roughly 40% -50% more map than what was put in Auger Zenith. These maps do take advantage of the original resource packs, but care was taken to remove several elements that would pull away from MAP01 and particularly MAP02 as being seen as it's own entity, and not simply "I remade my DBP map". That means no "getaway car", No custom HUD, several sounds and ambient actors removed, and certain textures avoided. Tips for when you play:
- Save often. They're big maps, so starting over sucks.
- Exploration pays off. Secrets aside, taking a moment to walk around the many vast areas will usually reward you more than trying to quickly run from one area to the next.
- Observe and take advantage of shortcuts. If you fall off something, their is usually a newly revealed ladder or lift to take you back. If you're playing coop and respawn, the beginning will have a teleporter to jump you back into the action, and so on...
BEFORE DOWNLOADING, PLEASE NOTE: 1. Although the maps are made in vanilla format, this WAD will only run properly in a ZDoom based sourceport (testing was done with Zandronum). It is preferred that you play this with jumping disabled, but mouse look enabled (due to all the verticality).
2. If you plan on streaming or recording and posting to any social media platform such as YouTube, your video may be partially muted, flagged etc. unless you play the WAD with the alternate music track I included in a separate file in the .zip. MAP02 has music that might be filed in the Copyright ID system. More info on this can be found in the Read Me's included.

Really interesting changes and added details to MAP02! Love what you replaced the "getaway car" with and this is was very interesting to go through overall. I also really liked the broken glass shards you had lying around you added because that's a really cool detail!
I will also chime in to say I do value the variety you provide with your larger areas in maps!

Congrats on release. I remember seeing the screenshots for your DBP35 map and was always curious about it. I only played the first map so far but enjoyed it, I'm curious to see what the changes are for the DBP37 map.

I know my style isn't for everybody and has even been frustrating at times in the context of a DBP (though I mostly blame that on my poor time management I had when working on DBP's), i know it can be a nice change up from many of the more compact level designs out there.

Haha, well, I had a hard time thinking of an overall WAD name for just two maps, and I was trying to avoid something like "My DBP Rejects & Remakes" XD i played it and the exploration was really boring and i dont like it sorry Totally respect this. Since there are several large areas, not a shit ton of monsters etc I'd imagine it would be a little slow paced and barren for some. I consider MAP02 the stronger map if you haven't tried that one. I made sure it is beatable from pistol start if you would like to try it.

Yeah, I got way too ambitious for the map submission for DBP35, and was no where near completion, then on top of that, I gave the lead a bit of an attitude XD. So I really wanted to finish and release it so it's story could end on a happier note. If you like MAP01, I think you'll like MAP02 even more.
