--Multiplayer Doom Event--

Odamex will have a winter cooperative Doom event featuring DBP35: Stroggman's Tundra on Saturday January 15 (not july 15 this time :3)

Odamex is a multiplayer Classic Doom source port designed to simplify online play. You can download Odamex 0.9.5 from the Odamex website.

You will need Doom 2 (DOOM2.WAD) and Stroggman's Tundra (DBP_35.WAD) to connect and play.

Server details to follow. If this is your first time setting up Odamex and its not working right, please post any questions you have below.

I used to tell myself that when I'd have an unlimited internet connection I'd play ZDaemon all day, but now I do and I don't (what a sentence huh). Uh anyway I'll try to take part.

On a side note, ppl still uses ODAMEX? I remember booting it up several times last year and found no sign of activity at all.

It was really fun. Sorry for the softlock on whitemare - couldn't do much trapped with low ammo and high ping on a cyberdemon fight. Really interesting wad btw, gonna add to my list.

Regarding the event; why don't we do this on a weekly basis? Or twice a month? Would be a nice opportunity to interact with each other in doom fashion.
