(Hope I posted this in the right place). So this is a bit of a nutty coincidence(?). Not much of a fan of John Oliver, but just a few days after Chex Quest DBP is released, he does a decent length segment on Chex Quest/ Doom. Maybe he's amongst us in the Doom community (half-joking). Currently trending in the top 10 on YouTube. Chex/Doom bit starts around 3:15.

Just more proof that Doomer Boards has exclusive access to the cultural zeitgeist (I love that word) and knows the innate desires of mankind, channeling as such bit by bit from the collective unconscious. Doomer Boards isn't a place, group, person, or even an idea. It is a conduit planned by forces unknown, imbued with a special fate and with purpose to bring balance to the universe as decreed by the ideas planned from the stars that are executed in its operation. It is no mere coincidence, it is simply a force of habit to know the exact thing to do at precisely the exact time to do so. Do not fall for the foolish folly of "synchronicity" as this is far more simple than the uninitiated would ever think it would be.

Thread derailment is neat when it's a thread not to be any serious about (I suppose) and it's not like it inconveniences the OP (I assume) at all. So much off-topic treasure in random threads.
