Question: The credits map of DBP18 looks quite peculiar. Is there more to it than just beautiful geometry? Answer: Why yes! The map is congruent with that of the Kabbalistic tree of life! Don't look too deep into it though I never intended for everything to match! In fact I don't even remember it being on purpose at all!  I don't have any others lololol |

Technically an off-topic question but is there any record of what the poll options were for the early DBPs? I've seen the DBP04 poll results in the DBP forum but haven't seen any from DBPs 02-03 and 05-06.

IIRC there never was any polling for those. I faintly remember more texture showcases for possible projects so maybe other "polls" were during end-of-development discussion instead or just previewing what was next.

I did see a texture showcase from before the first one launched but the Vote4Theme thread seems to indicate there was a vote for DBPs 02-03, with 40 just editing the poll each time instead of creating a new page. That thread also hints at DBP05 having a poll or 40oz asking for ideas in the Doomer Boards discord. No idea if there was ever a poll for 6, can't find anything about that (also curious who the mysterious MagicMaha is). |

No poll for number 6 then as that one was predetermined. AFAIK MagicMaha is just another cool Doom dude 40oz had contact with and made sure his stuff would be used and he made MAP01 of that project as well. I hope I'm not mistaken again x-x I still need to retexture my "Risk Blazer" map with those textures as originally intended and make that a standalone release :S |

DBP Fun Fact: Because Vote4Theme - DBP #4 was the last of the texture showcase polls I only had the Aurora Borealis theme to pick from (besides Hell Revealed 3) when seeing what was available after 40oz left to buy groceries that one time. I remember asking him on Discord for his other themes he had stored away to no answer. So that blue and black theme was used for DBP12: Into The Storm with me filling in as project lead for that month. Paging doomcuredave I wasn't too good as a project lead back then, I apologize. |

I did know about the Aurora Borealis/Into the Storm connection (interesting that all of the Vote4Theme themes have become DBPs) not the "Risk Blazer" thing, interesting that it started out as a DBP06 map.
