Lol... and then the creepy thing comes in: the order of items in 40oz post is EXACTLY the same as in the old thread, and even spelling "Doom" vs "doom", and even the use of "(yuck)" in a specific item. Congratulations on updating the list of ridiculous things though.

I have some shovelware WAD compilation CDs I bought on eBay (yuck), SNES Doom/Final Doom comics and magazine advertisement cut-outs, a Doom shot glass and I also have a Doom tattoo. You have never seen this post before. I don't even own Doom, like the game itself.

I bought doom 2016 and sincerely regretted it, even though it was €4.

Between Doom Collector's Edition PC version, the Pain Elemental plush, and Romero's Sigil T-shirt... Probably the Collector's Edition.

The Classic Doomguy Helmet (as depicted in Doom Eternal). It's considerably over-sized, but freaking awesome.

Well, Doom related memorabilia is quite rare or nonexistent here in Brazil - so outside of the actual game purchases on GoG, PSN and Xbox Live.. i have nothing else. Weirdly enough, a physical copy of the full version of Doom was quite difficult to find around here 15-20 years ago - Duke 3D, Shadow Warrior and Blood on the other hand were abundantly available and very cheap to buy. So in my pre teen years i've spent a lot of school lunch money buying cheap CD game magazines that had 'Doom' mentioned in the contents, hoping to get the full game. I ended up with dozens of CDs containing only the shareware version, because most of the time they did not specify what version it was and some magazines went as far as including screenshots of Episodes 2 & 3 on the back.
The closest i've got of getting a full version of any pre-Doom 3 game back then, were a succession of frustrated opportunities:
There was this one time shopping with my parents on a megastore that was having a huge discount sale. They had a lot of those pc game boxes editions and most of the shelves were already empty. So i quickly grabbed some Lucasarts games, a copy of Serious Sam and Doom 2 (from what i remember). But at the cashier, the price of Serious Sam and Doom 2 were way higher then the other stuff i've picked. So i had to choose between 4 or 5 cheap Star Wars games or just Serious Sam, or just Doom 2 - because of the price difference. So yeah, my SW collection got bigger.
The other opportunity was with a school colleague that i was assigned to do homework with. He had recently been given a new pc as a gift from his parents and it came with lots of games installed. So when i was on his house to do the homework, he showed me the games, and Doom 2 was one of them. Next day i brought him a couple of floppy disks and asked if he could copy some of those games for me. A few days after, he gave me back the floppys and once i got home, i've booted up the pc really excited.. only to find out he had copied the desktop shortcuts, not the game folders. I've tried to explain to him on how to find and copy the correct files and etc, but he just told me to bring the floppys to his house next time that i would go there to finish the homework and i could copy the games myself. In the meantime until i go to his house again, he got scared after playing Doom 2 one day and his father deleted the game.
The last time, i think i was 15 years old, was in a newsstand on a nearby city - the owner had some pc game boxes covered in dust in a bottom shelve. I asked him to take a look and found some interesting games there. One of them was Final Doom. The gameboxes were dusty but in good condition, sealed and quite cheap - the newsstand guy even offered me a good discount if i pick them all. But at the time i wasn't that interested in spend much money on games + i needed to pick up a bus later to get back to my city so i've decided to pick just one. I was in doubt between NAM and Final Doom, and since i never had heard of this 'Final Doom' and Nam looked quite cool on the box.. well, bad decisions were made.

Bought SNES Doom. Had it when I was a kid, and that didn't deter me from buying it as an adult. Something about it is charming. All my other Doom paraphernalia were bought for me. Figures and such.
